I'm really praying for a spin-off. I think this retelling of the traditional Brother Grimms stories is absolutely incredible. It's a nice mix of crime and fantasy genres mixed with a couple of unexpected twists.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This series started off like every other, very slow and secretive. It turned into something really not worth watching as if the writer ran out of ideas and just started filling in time. Scenes get dragged out to the point of boredom. Even chase scenes, a villain will be running out of a building with the Grimm right behind them, they get out into the street and are suddenly 100 yards ahead of the Grimm, then they have time to stop, change clothes or even have dinner and then walk away before the Grimm comes around the corner. Silly things like this happen throughout the show. The Grimm's girlfriend gets turned into a Hexenbiest and not only regrets it but is very childish about it. All the way to the finale this show is all about time filler. There is no rhyme or reason for any of the plot. The show ends on pure foolishness like they stole the plot from the Wizard of Oz. The acting is horrible, the plot is horrible, and the writing is horrible. You might get away of having this show on as white noise in the background but to actually watch it will be a huge waste of your day. Expand

'Grimm' has a very original and interesting premise and runs with it. The show can at times be camp or a bit too dramatic, but all together is a show about the character relationships.
