As a bigger fan of the earlier seasons, I really enjoyed Season 14. The maturity of Dr. Grey in her professional and personal demeanor should/could provide many avenues for the writers to explore. The maturity of Dr. Grey in her professional and personal demeanor should/could provide many avenues for the writers to explore. While the story is solid thus far, I do believe a good personal relationship in Dr. Grey's life will add a new dimension that is needed. A very lonely Dr. Grey, regardless of professional accolades, is not consistent with the passionate character that finally opened her heart to love. The show has yet to have a personal relationship that was not riddled with controversy, divorces, etc. Perhaps it's time for Meredith to enter into a relationship with the comfort of Finn, passion like Derek, and fill a void in her life like Riggs did. A big plus as well were the changes to Dr. Wilson. It's the first season since her introduction that the character appeared to me as the 'post it on the wall' special love that is right for Alex. While I'm not a great fan of Maggie or Amelia, it was interesting to watch the story lean toward a possible romance between Maggie and Jackson. I'm still not sure about the character of Amelia - I like the personality change, but I'm not sure of an angle that would hold my interest enough to stop my hand from fast-forwarding the remote through that portion of an episode. It was good to see Zola had aged a bit...this is one part of the show where the age of the kids was not consistent with the timeline of events. I do think the show should continue with a good balance between medicine and the personal lives of the characters - the brief glimpses into the personal lives and the lighter moments shared brought us back every season and episode (and for many a great show to binge watch reruns on a rainy day). I've read about the speculation concerning the longevity of the series and I hope what appears to be revitalized writing will continue to inspire the cast, especially Ellen Pompeo as well as creator Shonda Rhimes to continue building on this amazing series. One last note - best of luck to actresses who brought Callie Torres and Stephanie Edwards to life...they will be missed. Expand

They claimed that the “Christian” view was represented very well. I have yet to see that. All I’ve seen is a mockery of Christianity. That’s not the part I dislike about the show. What really got under my skin is the blanten disrespect of law enforcement/those in authority, acting like it’s two days before Civil Rights became in affect, and the racism they brought into the show. We all get it...Blacks HATE everyone who is going to tell them they can be anything if they work hard, or tell them the sky’s the limit with hard work. They had a Great thing with Dr. Webber, Dr. Bailey, and Dr. Preice. All hard working and successful. Criminals who disrespect authority are treated rough...cops are scared for their lives...we need to be rallying behind them. It don’t matter what skin color...YOU CAN’T DISRESPECT LE AND GET AWAY WITH IT!!! Stop telling your kids that only one skin color can. It’s racists...!!! Expand

This show is best when the focus is on the medicine. As a soap opera of personal relationships, it often struggles to make us care. Then they move on to destroy other characters/relationships. That’s the formula for this show. The multiple lesbian relationships shown are completely dysfunctional, and therefore not a positive example of why anyone should embrace such a lifestyle choice. Of course this show does little to showcase healthy heterosexual or nonsexual professional relationships. Makes one wonder if it’s safe to go to a hospital.

Recommendation- focus more on the cutting edge medicine and less on stupid personal choices. Stop breaking people so severely!

This is the first time I have watched a whole season and this season was spectacular. The drama and emotional weight of the story was beautifully done. There are some many characters and bad ones, the stories are boring and repetitive.
