Nov 20, 2014The cinematography is great. Too slow, too many suspects. Flat characters. Forced American accent, not many likeable characters. Its even hard to feel sorry for D.T. character

Nov 13, 2014Very good, loving it! Exceptionnal acting and directing, especially by mr Tennant and mrs Kull. Very different by usual chrime drama where all solved in 45'. Characters are believable.

Nov 15, 2014Not as good as the original version and David Tennent's accent is terrible, but it is still watchable and improving. My husband hasn't seen the original and wasn't initially interested in it, but is now looking forward to each new episode. They say the ending isn't the same as the original and I really hope this is true or what is the point of remaking the whole thing, just show the original.

Oct 30, 2014Even if you saw Broadchurch this show is worth a look. Sure Gracepoint feels like as unnecessary of a shot by shot remake as the 1998 Psycho remake. However, the performances are superb and some are even better than the performances in Broadchurch.
And dare I say that David Tennant is better in Gracepoint than he is Broadchurch. To me Gracepoint is more engaging despite the deja vu. -

Nov 7, 2014Gracepoint is getting better and better. Absolutely addicted! Outstanding acting especially from David Tennant, Virginia Kull and Nick Nolte. Excellent directing and beautifl photograph. Excellent!
-
As a raw police procedural, Gracepoint thrives thanks to legitimately unsettling twists, sharp revelations that focus our attention on new suspects. But it's in Carver and Miller’s competing worldviews that the show finds something more substantial to work with.
-
A smart, well-written and absorbing psychological drama about the effects of a horrible crime on a close-knit small town.
-
The problem is that Gracepoint lacks the expression and personality of either "The Killing" or "Broadchurch."
