    I enjoyed this show. I liked that Gordon has a soft side and it looked like he was actually caring and listening to employees of the restaurant. I also liked that he was tough when needed!
    I will continue watching and I think this is going to be a hit!

    This show is trash. It lacks the depth and insight into the personalities of restaurateurs that kitchen nightmares had. Despite Kitchen Nightmares being immensely exploitative and catering to chef Ramsay's giant ego, it was a fun and charming show because it felt like he cared. This new endeavor has none of that. Chef Ramsay phones this in. The man looks distracted and disenchanted withThis show is trash. It lacks the depth and insight into the personalities of restaurateurs that kitchen nightmares had. Despite Kitchen Nightmares being immensely exploitative and catering to chef Ramsay's giant ego, it was a fun and charming show because it felt like he cared. This new endeavor has none of that. Chef Ramsay phones this in. The man looks distracted and disenchanted with his job the way someone looks after they've worked fast food for more than 6 months. There are scenes in particular where you can tell he feels the urgency to get moments for the camera by saying inflammatory or provocative things to extract emotional responses and statements from his subjects. They feel completely contrived and artificial.

    Do yourself a favor, watch this show and stop enjoying Chef Ramsay altogether.    … Expand

    Ramsay is still quick with a quip. But we see a softer side to the chef, with Ramsay listening more and berating a bit less. To be sure, he still has an edge, but it's a little less sharp. ... When it comes to restaurant makeover shows, the more troublesome the owner, the more entertaining the episode. ... If the premiere episode is any indication, Gordon Ramsay's 24 Hours to Hell and Back will be a must-watch summer series.
