Summary:
Maya Kitajima is only thirteen years old, but she works with her mother in a Chinese restaurant to help pay the bills. Maya has trouble concentrating on her work however, as she is often distracted by her intense fascination with the world of acting. One day, she meets Chigusa Tsukikage; a former actress who realizes that Maya has immense talent, and decides to train and mould her into the foremost actress of her generation.
