Leah Dunham is full of it. Talent, that is. She can write her away around any illogical setup or self-absorbed unlikable characters who just have a way of looking at life that's a little different from us normal people. They're cooler than us and they're sexually liberated that's for sure and they'll even take it in the out door if you know what I am saying if they really like the guy orLeah Dunham is full of it. There's a lot of great material in here yearning to get out though it's not easy to see the first 6-7 times you watch. I haven't had the time to watch for an eighth time but it has to be in there with the way the media lauds this ground-breaking show that's really shedding new light on something.

There is a of eye-rolling and some raw talk about people's bodies and their bathing suit zones. And it does not hurt that Adam Diver is a gigantic hunk of ****

"Girls" is a big pile of malignant narcissism. Why all this self-loathing? And why is this a television show? It's in no way insightful. These people are vapid, duplicitous and petulant. Ugh. I prefer "New Girl" to "Girls." At least those writers appear to love their characters.

I'm so glad this is the final series of this show. This is the biggest load of drivel to ever hit HBO. I sat through the first and second season of the show with a partner and could not stand it.

Definitely gives me first season vibes and I'm totally okay wth that. The dialogue is still witty and the character development is so obvious amongst the characters/actors as a whole. It makes me happy to see that the show will go out with an excellent final season. Oh, and to all the people rating it negatively before even watching or solely basing their ratings off of their hatred towards Lena Dunham, learn to separate the art from the artist and show respect for the work. There is no denying her talent. Expand

This was a really great, really poignant season, capturing all the best qualities of what has been an interesting but inconsistent series. These characters are so flawed, but so heartfelt, it's really been a ride I enjoyed. And the final episode is great. This final season is the best of this show.

After watching her stumble with a stubbornness approaching active determination for so long, seeing Hannah take new steps toward self-improvement--small and stuttering though they are--comes as a relief.

Sunday night’s premiere featured some of the best writing the show has produced. More and more, Hannah Horvath is resembling a character we no longer identify with, but so clearly recognize. She’s annoying and hard to tolerate, but grounded enough to be endearing.

Girls is essentially a hipster soap opera--occasionally clever or smart--but not as revealing as it led you to believe. This year it might take the step that has been promised since its first season, but maybe not.
