    Another mindless CBS comedy.

This could have been a decent show except that it is too shallow and banal.

Stereotypes abound which makes this show less than smart, less than interesting, and easy to tune out.

When will Hollywood learn that smart writing is the key to the success of the classic sitcoms of the past. Unfortunately they keep dishing out this drivel.

This show is an abomination. Yet another doomed American remake of a British show that didn’t need to be made. I should say that I loved Rose McIver in iZombie, but if the showrunners thought they were capturing what made the original Ghosts special they have failed spectacularly. Please just watch the original BBC Ghosts, there are already three seasons and it’s still airing.

Ghosts is one of my top 5 favorite new shows of 2021. The writing was outstanding, very hilarious and really love the witty on the nose jokes. The performances are phenomenal especially from Rose McIver, Brandon Scott Jones, Rebecca Wisocky, Danielle Pinnock, Matt Walsh, Richie Moriarty, Asher Grodman, Devan Chandler Long, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Roman Zaragoza, John Hartman, Betsy Sodaro,Ghosts is one of my top 5 favorite new shows of 2021. The music is great especially the opening theme. An A+ first season, hoping for many more. Expand

British transplant. We get it that some may have liked the British version, but so too are those who still cling to the British version of the Office. True, it can be mindless, but mindless in a harmless, comedic manner. Perhaps not as “smart” as some comedies (pick your show), but Ghosts is certainly worth a view if you want something light, amusing, and a show with about a half dozenBritish transplant. It's good. I do watch it and hope for more shows, but there was absolutely no reason to remake the BBC version though. Watch that one too if you can. Since I like the BBC version, I admit that it's nice to have some American versions to fill in while I'm waiting for it to come back.

Did not expect to enjoy this show. Interesting context and the interplay between the characters are amusing.

Perhaps if I had not seen the original series, this American adaptation would be tolerable, but I rather doubt it. Setting aside the fact that this adaptation did not take a single opportunity to improve upon the formula of the original, it's just not funny. The writing is clunky, made clunkier by a cast that just seem to nail a single line of dialogue. You get the sense that this is everyone's first everything. First acting roles, first scriptwriting gig, first time directing, editing, etc. If not, it's pretty embarrassing. Expand

Not bad at all, just british show was better... This version is too exaggerated.

I’ve greatly enjoyed both the UK and US versions. It’s fun, goofy with a diverse group of characters. All the ghosts are so different and somehow they have great chemistry.

Ghosts US (BBC Three/iPlayer) is a decent showcase for its cast and it can’t kill the charm of the original, but what was delightful in the original show is now just pleasant and what was unique is generic.

The US version of Ghosts (BBC Three) isn’t bad. It’s a scene-for-scene remake of the original.

While it's perfectly OK, watching it is like drinking Aldi cava having tasted champagne.
