    While a lot of viewers will get distracted by the violence, this show has the most dynamic and well crafted action scenes seen on the small screen.
    The show starts of with a bang and has an intriguing and captivating plot, but as the body count rises the story starts slippiing which is a shame.
    Evan's organised crime caper on steroids is still an entertaing ride nonetheless.

    Binge watched it, and actually really enjoyed it. Finally the Danish make it into a show, I'll leave it at that so not to spoil anything :)

    This series starts off promisingly enough and initially seems glossy and stylish but takes an express train down a steep hill after the halfway point. It just gets ridiculous, pointless and frankly boring in terms of plot. The lead actor is badly cast here - he's about as believable as the mob boss as a unicorn. Another Sky production that yet again flatters to deceive.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The dialog and story are , carbon copy heroes modeled obviously after Falcon, storm and Dr Strange. Black adam is supposed to be the dark superman, but it was just the rock quipping his way through monotone dialog and boring, tired action and effects. Violates the cardinal sin of introducing too many characters with too much back story into one film.… Expand

    AMC’s newest British crime drama is replete with violence, slathering on the carnage like so much frosting on a cake, but its excess is intentional and its pacing exquisite. ... I love it. I cannot get enough of this show. ... Gangs of London isn’t for the squeamish, but its baroquely complex universe can be a thrilling one to visit.

    At times it’s wildly serious and complicated, at times it’s unintentionally silly and simplistic. And all of the times, it’s addictive, gripping, unique, and jaw-dropping television.
