Apr 30, 2019The show took a deep dive after it didn't have any more source material. The winterfell war was an unplanned anticlimatic mess.

May 12, 2019I’m not a critic but, same drama I see when I’m laying on the couch while playing hooky from work. Screw u GH, I’m crying right now. One step forward, three steps back.

May 6, 2019Seasons 1-4 were fantastic and Seasons 5-7 were filled with great, memorable episodes that were of such high quality that it was enough to carry their respective seasons.
However, this Season 8 abomination is just booty. I had much more typed up, but I think the word 'booty' perfectly describes it. Thanks for your time, The Sentient Pen -

Apr 22, 2019The second episode is more boring than the first. It's all about plot setups and padding. You'll be safe in the crypt, O yes, very, very safe. Yawn...

May 8, 2019Wow, the writing is terrible and so is this season so far. Uninspired, anticlimactic, out of character mess. The cast continue to do their best with the garbage they've been given.

May 9, 2019Episode 1 was meh
Episode 2 was subtly good
Episode 3 looked good but the ending was very disappointing and the plot armor was ridiculous! Episode 4 tested my intelligence. We're not that stupid! -
May 22, 2019Agree with consensus it's the biggest best show of its time (despite HBO's typically lurid, salaciously depraved thumbprint further debasing the culture) with all seasons through the last rating between 9 and 10 here, but this final season is clearly a major disappointment missing the tremendous narrative craft so expertly executed previously. They blew it!

May 17, 2019The downhill trend continues. A sad season to end the largest tv series ever produced. No amount of fantastic acting or effects could cover for a distinct drop in the show's writing, which leaves the impression that Benioff and Weiss no longer have the will to maintain the show's quality in a final mad sprint to the finish line.

May 5, 2019Absolutely poorly written, stupid character decisions and development, a frustrating conclusion to what was once a great show

-
May 7, 2019Except the boring second episode, season 8 really satisfies me. And still 2 episodes to go.

May 20, 2019absolutamente deplorável. um verdadeiro escárnio com a obra original. esta última temporada foi uma verdadeira piada de mau gosto.
-
May 20, 2019Muito fraco !!! Último episódio sem emoção alguma , meio bagunçado, acho q se perderam no meio do caminho , poderiam ter feito algo épico , mas a meu ver , o fim ficou bem longe disso !

The premiere pulled everyone and everything together; it was, for the most part, an almost nostalgic hour. ... It is the competing loyalties, the loves and enmities that enmesh the Lannisters, Starks, Targaryens and the rest, after all, and the questions Game of Thrones poses about conscience and corruption and the manifestations of power, that will propel us through to the end.
-
As in season 7, the big problem with “Winterfell”—the reason it felt more like an unlucky videographer’s rendering of an exceptionally dysfunctional family reunion than like a carefully crafted story—was the pacing.
-
The show has stepped up its pacing. For the most part, that has been immensely satisfying, yielding crowd-pleasing moments that the and that the series generally avoided in the often-grim journey, especially for the Stark kids, which has led to this point.
