May 16, 2019A laughably bad end to a show whose quality has been in decline for quite some time now. Others have already covered the specifics exhaustively. Looking back at the early seasons, it's sad to think that this is how it all ends. Fortunately, it's only just the show.

May 16, 2019Visually impressive, yet utterly moronic. The characters are there, but they're all skin-deep, and some behave like different people. If you care for Game of Thrones, the fantasy genre, or even just like good stories, this season should leave you mortified.

May 20, 2019Everything about it was fine. A couple of great episodes but it went out with a whimper. Poor and uninteresting.
-
May 8, 2019The poor quality of writing this season makes my heart hurt. Everyone seems to agree that by not having the books to draw from, the show suffers, and that's becoming increasing obvious with each new episode.
It's such an incredible shame because a show that nosedives in the final seasons isn't nearly as re-watchable as one that doesn't. -
Dec 28, 2019The show was a masterpiece until season 8. Its like they decided to take a dump on the entire story. It was rushed and ruined. Biggest disapointment in cinema history imo

Apr 15, 2019Daenerys isn't a villain. Daenerys was sold, raped and betrayed, fought for what she wanted and won all obstacles, so can the writers treat her as the leader she is? Cause all we saw in the premiere was a weak and boring sidekick to Jon.
-
Apr 29, 2019it is sad they wasted the White Walkers in 1 single episode ripping off Star Wars Episode 1 anticlimactic fight...what a waste of a plot pumped since season 1.

May 31, 2019Shockingly Bad Ending GOT Season 8 is definitely the most disappointing ending to a show once considered one of the best ever.
-
May 13, 2019What a bunch of BS this season is. The first two episodes were okay. Tedious at times, but at least coherent. "The Long Night" on the other hand was a nonsensical disappointment, and "The Bells" was a complete storytelling catastrophe. I'm genuinely afraid to watch the finale.

Apr 27, 2019Game of Thrones needs to be more alive! We all know all the character are in Winterfell to defeat the Night King and the army of the deads but the two first episodes were so boring... and boring is not a word we use talking about Game of Thrones!
But I still have hope! -
May 19, 2019Final tan insípido, incoherente, aburrido... Nadie pedía un final feliz pero si un mejor desarrollo y cierre de personajes.

May 17, 2019What were they thinking? The first few seasons had great characters and dialogue, and an intriguing “winter is coming” theme. This season has nothing of quality. Bloated, murky, and ridiculous.

Horrible end watch it!!! Really bad season with very bad ending -
Nov 4, 2019Worst final season in TV history. I'm giving them a 3 for the inmense work of the actors and every single person who made it look as visually stunning as it always is.
The writing tho was **** It was rushed, nonsensical, dumbified characters became a parody of themselves, they lacked motivation, every single one of them got ruined. D&D should be never be hired again after this. -
May 13, 2019David Benioff and D. B. Weiss ruined one of the best shows ever in 5 episodes. I feel for George... Please, just don't give good reviews to those 2 horrible writters, they don't deserve get any opportunity to ruined another work from anyone.

May 19, 2019Desconstrução total e sem sentido de vários personagens, principalmente Daenerys.
-
Dec 12, 2021A far cry. A grave disappointment of rushed ideas in the penultimate season of a saga of dramatic growth. It plays like a shock exercise and spoils previous seasons. .
-
May 9, 2019This season is unceremoniously crumbling anticlimactically like so many ice zombies.

The premiere pulled everyone and everything together; it was, for the most part, an almost nostalgic hour. ... It is the competing loyalties, the loves and enmities that enmesh the Lannisters, Starks, Targaryens and the rest, after all, and the questions Game of Thrones poses about conscience and corruption and the manifestations of power, that will propel us through to the end.
-
As in season 7, the big problem with “Winterfell”—the reason it felt more like an unlucky videographer’s rendering of an exceptionally dysfunctional family reunion than like a carefully crafted story—was the pacing.
-
The show has stepped up its pacing. For the most part, that has been immensely satisfying, yielding crowd-pleasing moments that the and that the series generally avoided in the often-grim journey, especially for the Stark kids, which has led to this point.
