Mar 16, 2023The fourth season of Game of Thrones is another very successful season of the show, which puts an end to a villain as hated as it is iconic (the applause here goes to the actor!), concludes the dispute between the Night's Watch and the Wildlings and makes , in fact, Tyrion Lannister as the real mascot, in a succession of events that leave sensationally speechless.

Mar 30, 2021Yep, I came back to watch this season and I still loved it. Not much I can add to what everyone has already reviewed about the season, but if it helps you I must say watching this was a highlight of my life.

Jun 27, 2020Game of Thrones keeps getting better in a surprisingly focused fourth season that boasts a less convoluted narrative without sacrificing the show's trademark blend of top tier character development, mind-blowing twists, and spectacular set pieces.

May 6, 2019The fourth season of the fantasy hit drama is a masterpiece and without a doubt, it is right up there where Breaking Bad is when it comes to the terrific writing and directing of that season and it’s the only season that considers to be the very best of all other seasons of Game of Thrones.

Apr 15, 2019Pedro Pascal was a fantastic addition as Oberyn Martell and the true highlight of the season. Pretty much everything going on in King's Landing is near perfection. I was a bit disappointed with how slow Jon's and Daenerys's storylines have been progressing and it definitely plays like a more background plot than the main one IMO, Specially when compared to other storylines going on.

Nov 3, 2018Game of Thrones peaked with this season everything is remarkable and the writing has never been better.
-
Oct 14, 2018This is the best season so far. It has the most mystery and intrigue out of all four seasons, along with incredible action and non-stop excitement.

Apr 15, 2018Season 4 continued on par with the great storytelling and scenes that were present in the previous seasons. The old and new characters all were interesting and they have a lot of depth. The battle at the wall was well done and it had heartfelt moments throughout. The trial by combat was both the most frustrating and gut wrenching thing. Overall It was an amazing season.

Jan 11, 2017An absolute marvel. The show finds new ways to surprise, while always maintaining a feel of realness, instead of feeling like the show cheats. It also builds the characters well and keeps a sense of curiosity on you.

Nov 30, 2016Season 4 is in my opinion the best of the bunch and that is such a good compliment that I don't think anyone or thing could possibly hope to ever be given such high praise. This is all the things from seasons 1,2 and 3 that you loved all jam-packed into one divine masterpiece.

Jul 17, 2016Season 4 of Game of Thrones is a masterpiece in all aspects: from the inticrate plotting to well fleshed out characters (both major & minor ones), to shocking plot twists, while never letting go of action, drama and tension.
-
Jun 8, 2016Season 4 of Game of Thrones might be the best season on the show, and that REALLY says something, because every season is phenomenal. In the past three seasons, the ninth episode is always the big, titanic game changing episode. In this season, every single episode feels like an episode nine.
-
May 21, 2016Not just the best season of Game of Thrones, but one of the best seasons of television ever. Great storylines, amazing plot twists and so many characters you'll love watching.

This narrative pokiness is redeemed, as usual, by the machine-tooled professionalism of the production, the lavish attention to the mock-medieval costumes and setting, and the mostly crisp, understated acting by the international cast.... More than ever, though, you may find yourself impatient for the plot to wind around to the more engaging story lines.
-
The acting is delightful, the visuals are sumptuous, the stories couldn't be more surprising.
-
The storytelling seems to have hit a new peak of relaxed confidence. In every scene you get a sense of steady forward motion. New characters are introduced and old characters deepened, and devious new plots are laid out so deftly that it's not until midway through episode three that you look back over everything that came before and laugh at yourself for not having seen a particular surprise coming
