    The beginning of a cult series, a shocking first season where everything believed to be impossible actually happens. The real strength of Game of Thrones is rooting for someone, believing that they will become an important character in the saga, only to be proven wrong when you are killed the very following episode.

    Cara hoje em dia essa é a melhor série que eu já vi, essa primeira temporada é pra acabar com qualquer um que vê série meia boca da netflix. GOT na primeira temporada já deixa claro a história já começa a mostrar o mundo rico em história é divertido pra caralho e é muito bem escrito, da pra pedir mais?

    This show is awesome. I am a big fan of the books and the adaptation is really perfect, actually better than i thought it could be. The cast is just perfect, The young actors are really good (Maisie Williams!), Peter Dinklage is perfect for his character, so are Emilia Clarke, Lena Headey

    Admittedly having not being exposed to the source material prior makes this first installment very satisfying but even with the books for comparison this season is fascinating slow burn bookended with cliffhangers that sets up a detailed epic which could give Lord of the Rings a run for they're money

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Game of Thrones is my favorite HBO show, my favorite new show of 2011, my favorite drama show, and my 2nd favorite show of all time. The storytelling and the writing are excellent. The acting is stupendous especially from Emilia Clarke, Peter Dinklage, Sean Bean, Maisie Williams, Kit Harington, Michelle Fairley, Mark Addy, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Aidan Gillen, Lena Headey, Iain Glen, and Sophie Turner. The supporting performances from John Bradley, Conleth Hill, Jason Momoa, and Sibel Kekilli was also great. The sets and scenery were terrific, I loved have authentic and real all of the areas looked. The costumes and props were fantastic especially all of the armour, all of the weapons, and the Iron Throne. The visual effects and makeup effects were impressive especially the cut and stab wounds throughout the show and the baby dragons in the season finale. The last scene in the season finale was awesome, I loved it so much, the baby dragons are so cool and cute. I also loved the opening theme and all of Ramin Djawadi's music that was in this season, the music was great. A+ for this season.… Expand

    In its debut season, Game of Thrones brilliantly weaves a medieval web of its own that is, though occasionally perfunctory, instantly gripping and complex, grounded by a diverse slew of deeply crafted characters.

Everything is fair in love and my game of thrones!it made me believe that i am living the story i literally felt the weight of swords they carry,i can sense there politics as ned starks perspective,literally every episode is massive and epic!while in season 1 the khal drogo was as per my view a wasted one yet i might think great is yet to come from winterfell and mother of dragons and lanisters as well!all over the season quite shocking moment was literally ned's death i was stunned at that part and quite hyped about white walkers!allover A great start to epic saga!… Expand

    I was never a book person, and I haven't read the book that the show's based on, but after watching the first season of Game Of Thrones, this is one of the best show on TV that HBO has to offer.

    A remarkable first season that started the Game of Thrones fantasy cult following and the starting of this show is incredible thanks to outstanding direction and production value that’s truthful to George R.R Martin’s work.

    Such a waste. That show could be best TV show ever. Instead, we get a poor write, disappointing story for 12 yo, brainwashed and full of clishes. So sad.

Unfortunately it then slowly but surely descended into the hellish depth of empty filler episodes, story convenience and plot armor so thicc Nicki Minaj will soon write a song about it.

    Don't get me wrong, the first 3 seasons are great, 4 and 5    The sad story of what started as a smart and promising show subverting fantasy trope and using consequences in both a clever and choking way. Unfortunately it then slowly but surely descended into the hellish depth of empty filler episodes, story convenience and plot armor so thicc Nicki Minaj will soon write a song about it.

    Don't get me wrong, the first 3 seasons are great, 4 and 5 are meh, but then be ready for 3 seasons of pure disappointment culminating in a morbid feast of blank dialogues, cheap jump scare, bad CGI and deus ex machina ad nauseam.

    8.01 Wasn't half bad, to be honest. For once people did more than stand and stare without blinking in costumes so complicated the actors are completely stuck in them. This time people actually expressed an occasional emotion.     Most metal fantasy story ever.

    Politic intrigue, back-stabbings, realistic and ugly medieval world, kingslayers, hookers, **** swords, and on top of all that, fookin dragons, magic and ancient ice zombies!

    Best TV show I've ever come across, enticing me from start to finish. It breaks my heart to think that by April 2019 the last season for this show will commence and inevitably reach it's conclusion. Brilliant and worth a watch by anyone even if you think you won't like it. "When you play a Game of Thrones you win or you die".

    Es una serie que se divide en 8 temporadas, basadas en la obra de "Canción de Hielo y Fuego" de George R. R. Martin. Le pongo el 10 sobre 10, soberbia. Mi sexta crítica    Juego de Tronos es una maravilla visual y artística, como así mismo, muy bien interpretada.

    8 years later and the first season of GoT still gets me hooked by its gripping story, stunning effects and unfiltered display of action.

    The epic fantasy series is lavish, violent and often quite nasty. Most crucially, this adaptation of George R.R. Martin's "Song of Ice and Fire" book series is unnecessarily difficult to follow.

    A grand soap opera of epic proportions, Game of Thrones can be a bit talky in some episodes, but the series draws a viewer in with well-defined characters and a multitude of simultaneous stories whose plot turns are generally unpredictable.
