    Still one of the greatest animated shows in the history of television. Only "Everybody Loves Hypnotoad" still stands on top.

    Great to see the show back, thank you - the cast for getting together.
    I've been fan since the beginning of the show in 2000s and unfortunately, this first episode reminds me of the Bender's Big Score. Nothing memorable with spilled out old gags repackaged for the new generation. Maybe I'm too old or had much higher expectations but I feel like this episode is forced by the new network    Great to see the show back, thank you - the cast for getting together.

I'd expect much more after 10year hiatus. I only hope this is what was forced by contract and we will see the wit and smirky gags we loved so much in the future(ama).     Episode 1 so far. I wouldn't say I liked any of the bingeing, streaming jokes. I've just seen it done better in other shows like Barry. I wouldn't say I liked the fourth wall-break preaching towards the end. It didn't feel like FUTURAMA to me. Everything else is good. Everything looks clean. Bender's back baby

    Rest in Peace Futurama 3.19.19

    Season that has no purpose to exist. So much so it actually doesnt as this is season 8. Not 11. That being said this is pure soulless Disney garbage. This is futurama in name only. The downgrade in quality here is very similar to the example Disney made out of Archer. The show is dead and had a proper finale. This is nothing but abomination.     Shut up and take my money, Futurama! Excited to see this back! The show kicks off with some funny self-awareness about the show being off the air for a while but overall continues with what makes the show great!

    It's sad to say, but it isn't what it once was. The innovative concepts and risqué humour is completely absent, leaving the characters we love in a very bland and tired setting. The writing isn't completely to blame however, as the acting comes off as deflated aswell. Whether this is due to the uninspired ideas or just the passage of time is unclear. I feel as though they are stuck in pastIt's sad to say, but it isn't what it once was. The innovative concepts and risqué humour is completely absent, leaving the characters we love in a very bland and tired setting. The writing isn't completely to blame however, as the acting comes off as deflated aswell. Whether this is due to the uninspired ideas or just the passage of time is unclear.     This season is an utter disappointment. The dark humor of the previous seasons is what defined this series, but virtually none of it remains. I fail to understand why the other review that says something similar is a 6/10.

    Do these new episodes feel essential? Not really. I don’t know that I ever felt that way about the show to begin with, but I have such admiration for its love of zingers, its bouncy-cynical depiction of the future, and a cast of characters who are plainly ridiculous and yet committed to one another.

    At its best, Futurama remains a charming, sci-fi-tinged hangout comedy in the vein of a futuristic Community or It’s Always Sunny. But the re-reboot only reinforces how great that very first run was, more than 20 years ago.
