Yes I have read the books so kind of a fan of the stories about Dune. This show has dated visuals, a low budget look with more than one flat performance. Mediocre, boring, average acting, poor visuals, Dune, the best sci-fi novel of all times doesn't deserve this amateurish quality.

This was the Dune that I had yet to see after Lynch's version, the extended version of Lynch's film and Villeneuve's epic.

Certainly here the plot got expanded in a better way, and you can see the work and the effort, but despite being a 20-year old miniseries, it looks much older because of its cheap production and its old-fashioned style.

It's not really a rarity, far from it, it's just another adaptation of a book that's too complicated to be adapted.… Expand
