    As over the top as Season 1 was, they've amped it up to 11 for season 2, but no Stanley Tucci, who is very much missed. Dennis Quaid seems a bit old, doddering and past his expiration date, great to see Michelle Fairley again on the screen though she seems underused. All n all a disappointment. I'm trying to muscle through the last 3 eps now.

    Things are ramped up in the crazy stakes for season 2 and i'm not too sure if it works as they intended.

    The pace is still very slow, with casual conversations lingering on, and the narrative can be a little difficult to keep track of with so many characters living such separate lives. But there’s always a fantastic amount of acting talent on display in the series, and at its core it’s really just about a small town.
