This is a very fascinating lowkey thriller about one of the most interesting feuds in hollywood. The acting is all top notch and I look forward to the next episode.

Feud is a really good show, it has all that something has to have to be good, a great cast, director or in this case directors, production design, photography, costumes, etc. But the most important, a good story to tell. Amazing cast (A-listers), stunning scenography (I have not seen such expensive production in a long time) and one of the most iconic story from Hollywood. The pilot was outstanding and I just can't wait for more... 10/10.

Oh, Ryan Murphy, you did IT again! I just love this production. I bet Joan and Bette would be in love with this too. All the shade, all the jokes... And I bet Golden Globes and Emmys are on lock for this one. Fingers crossed!

TV doesn't get much better than this -- great acting and direction, costumes and sets that are detailed and authentic to the time being portrayed. I've watched first episode so far and I've loved every minute of it.

I thoroughly enjoyed pilot episode. Beautifully shot, well acted and evidently well researched - this series was a true joy in an era of shoddily created television.

This is a remarkable drama. It is historically accurate and tells a tale of the inside of the Hollywood's biggest feud. The acting is first rate, the design brilliant. Highly recommended.

The show, in its best moments, is a perfect mix of elegance and soap opera schlock, all while finding ways to string along its bingeing FX subjects through to the next slowly unfurling royal crisis...

Ryan Murphy continues to prove he is the king of television business of his generation. 'Feud' is a display of talent not only for its flawless acting duo, but for the clear message of a difficult scenario for feminism, ageism and unbalanced recognition in Hollywood. It's a bravo, Murphy, again!

I expected a big laugh out loud comedy from the preivews of the show but that's not entirely what I got yes there were some laughs threwout the show but it was also a good drama but please be warned that the characters are not very role modelish folks they swear drink and fight with one another however I did enjoy it

Poor Bob Aldrich. Those three words kept popping in my mind while watching Feud. The lovingly created Saul Bass style opening titles, production design, costume (Judy Davis' Hedda Hopper is amazing), photography..all are top notch. But it's the actors that shine the most. Jessica Lange and Susan Sarandon take two iconic actresses, and make the roles their own. Alfred Molina is superb as the director-in-the-middle Robert Aldrich. Judy Davis, Stanley Tucci, and whoever was cast as Victor Buono are all excellent, as is Jackie Hoffman as Crawford's maid Mamasita. An absolute pleasure to watch. Expand

"Feud" is a great example of how making a TV series; it has a good plot, good cast (in most cases), a good director, a good everything. Jessica Lange and Susan Sarandon are amazing: they know how to make us feel what their characters feel. And Judy Davis gives, in my opinion, is just great.

It is offensive on how Davis is treated like a side character and not given the focus that she deserved like "Crawford." This show is a pretentious desperate attempt to gain awards and is not meant for human consumption. Look at all the "10 Ratings" that talk about awards... its like the studio's manipulative PR is in full gear because no normal human talks like that... There tends to be this message about what it is like to age in Hollywood but it gets lost. The show jumps around in time so much that a lot of the story falls apart. One of the biggest problems with the show is that there was too much Joan Crawford and not enough Betty Davis who is the more interesting character. The ending was so manufactured it was offensive to what claims to be a historical piece. This show is forgettable so do not start watching it now... it is garbage made with the intent to capitalize on reward season and lacks substance. Expand

I am astounded by how lousy this pilot was.It was dull, it was sluggish and frankly it was more about Susan Sarandon and Jessica Lange than about these two truly famous actresses of the past..What I mean is- who cares? There was no depth to it - which frankly was an insult to Bette Davis-who if anything was one smart cookie. This was a stupid, superficial and boring piece.

Ryan Murphy's work here is incredible, creating a show like this could be either good or bad, but the cast and writing help a lot, my only complaint is Jessica's performance, which isn't bad but it's not good either and it kind of makes Joan Crawford look bad which I don't like considering I was expecting a more neutral thing with the Feud.

An actor waiting for their next big picture; a director wanting to get their hands on another well written and potentially successful script, and studio owners desperate for their next financial hit. This series, was beautifully filmed, with some excellent dialogue, mesmerising performances, and a real insight into the fragile nature of these two actresses and their jealousies and vulnerabilities. It also highlights well the difficulties ageing female stars face, losing beauty and being overlooked for roles as they age. Becoming invisible and losing your identity, can't get sadder than that. The scene in episode 7 where the two female stars exchange a dialogue--- how did it feel to be the most beautiful woman in the room and the most talented, respectively. Their response: it was wonderful, but never enough! . I think those lines stand true for anyone who gets to the top of their game and the finds it impossible to stay there. A great successful piece of television drama Expand

Feud has its flaws--a jokey song cue here, blunt exposition there. But Murphy lets the contradictions sizzle: he knows that schlock can double as great art; that self-loathing can work both as a goad to ambition and as an emotional crippler.

Murphy gives his eight-part series a lush old Hollywood look and lets both Lange and Sarandon have fun recreating the quirks that made the actresses so memorable. While Sarandon is a dead ringer for Davis, Lange has to work harder to find the outsized Crawford. Both are ably abetted by a host of actors as recognizable names.
