One of the best sci-fi television shows ever created. There are so many stories yet to be told. By ending the series through Farscape the Peacekeeper Wars, it was certainly Innovative at the time. And smart. During the early 2000s it was,One of the best sci-fi television shows ever created. There are so many stories yet to be told. By ending the series through Farscape the Peacekeeper Wars, it was certainly Innovative at the time. And smart. During the early 2000s it was, more likely than not, time for the show to end ... that does not mean that there are not more incredible stories to be told. If the original cast members could be brought back to tell these stories in Films, such as Star Trek TNG did - there could be some amazing storytelling and true entertainment for the die-hard and true sci-fi fans, as well as mainstreamers. As long as they don't do the same thing that the latest regeneration of Doctor Who has done by focusing on political messages and obliterating the soul of the main characters and storytelling in general.

I believe that Farscape could very well B a better SyFy series today then many of the currently favored Syfy television and film brings to us today!… Expand

The writing is linear with lots of plot armour, but that is the only thing I can say bad. The universe is as unique as anything i have ever seen. The first season they were trying to find themselves like most Scifi shows. But they truely found themselves and raised the bar on what a scifi show could be. Great show - a bit slow to start and low budget-esque in the first season or so but after that - OMG - amazing show - one of the best sci-fi's ever overall

A classic TV show and definitely still worth a watch. Skip the cartoon/animated episode though. It's genuinely terrible and the only episode I had to force myself to watch.

When people talk about great SciFi I wish this show came up more often. It has witty well written characters who act as individuals always and above everything else. They develop and change over the course of the seasons. It was written atWhen people talk about great SciFi I wish this show came up more often. It has witty well written characters who act as individuals always and above everything else. They develop and change over the course of the seasons. It was written at they perfect time when both the creativity and the technology were there. Starting out these are not the members of a crew that work well together. During the first few episodes it becomes clear that there is as much personal conflict between the crew members as there is between the crew and what ever threat was going on externally. By the end though, you can see how they have developed, how they have formed lasting relationships. If I had one gripe about the show, it would be how the ending was handled. This wasn't by any fault of the cast, writers or crew. The SciFi channel wanted to cancel the show not picking it up for the next planned season. This left it setting on one of the shows signature cliff hangers. Us fans united and harassed the channel enough to get a mini series to at least get an ending for the show. The only problem with this was that alot of sub plots had to be hastily addressed, and not as well as they could have been if the show had gotten a full season rather then the mini series. Never the less I am of course grateful for getting an ending rather then the show being left as it was as many other shows tend to be. If you want something that will tickle your funny bone, inspire you and drag you into a universe that is begging to be explored, you will love Farscape. The uncharted territories are calling, and you should answer.… Expand

Farscape is a very odd and weird messy universe. The puppets felt like legit real characters so props for pulling that off. The fish out of water story with a human facing aliens and advanced technoloy gave off that Buck Rogers sort of vibe.Farscape is a very odd and weird messy universe. Beyond the crew not a lot of memorable characters except for (BDSM looking) Scorpius. One of the greatest TV shows ever made and was ended far too soon. Why cancel a show at the height of its popularity and quality. Best show

No hay crítica objetiva, es mi serie favorita y es un diez. Tiene de todo, buenos personajes, buena trama, buenos diseños de trajes y de disfraces. Son cuatro temporadas y ninguna tiene desperdicio, la mejor por lejos es la tercera. La disfruté un montón, es más, en Amazon Prime se puede ver y cada tanto que tengo que hacer algo es la serie que dejó de fondo.
Muy buen casting, en especial Ben Browder, me da un poco de pena que hoy en día no aparezca en series y películas con más frecuencia, teniendo en cuenta que tiene un nivel actoral muy muy bueno… Expand
