Feb 17, 2016This is the only show with the ability to unseat Breaking Bad as the best TV show ever. One more season like the last two, and it's got the title. It's that good. I never would've thought it was possible, but season two is even better than season one. Season one was 10/10, and season two is 11/10.

Nov 29, 2015This show ranks right up there with Breaking Bad as one of the best dramas ever to appear on television. Smart, clever, thrilling, you can't take your eyes off of it. I didn't think it was possible to top the movie but season two comes as close as anything you'll ever see. Amazing.

Oct 27, 2015An incredible show with terrific acting ,great scenery and most important terrific screenwriting.
Milligan and his prog rock comments, noone wants half a car! Priceless!
The only show other than Breaking Bad that I would watch the same episode twice. -
Oct 25, 2015Better than season 1 so far and not as over the top. I'm really glad this didn't turn into True Detective season 2. The best show on television right now.

Nov 8, 2015Brilliant, absolutely brilliant. The dialogue alone is reason to watch Fargo #2. "Mike Milligan and the Kitchen Brothers" are they the best act ever? Even better than season #1. One of the best prequels every made including those of movies.

Dec 15, 2015Astonishingly good. Fargo is at once crowd-pleasing and artful, hilarious and brutal. This season surpassed the superb first on each of these levels. Yes, it's the best show since Breaking Bad and, yes, it deserves all the awards. Expect the impressive cast to get plenty of nods, particularly Kirsten Dunst and Ted Danson.
-
Dec 19, 2015Ted Danson was the best thing about this season, followed very closely by the Mike Milligan character. Followed very very closely by Patrick Wilson. and the photography, and the music. Honestly, there was not 1 thing this season that did not blow me away. I would restart it and watch it all again on a rainy day.

Jan 24, 2016Given how good season 1 was, I did not expect season 2 to be better...but it is. Everything in this season was amazing and top-notch. The visuals, the sounds, the dialogue, the direction, the pacing, the themes, the characters, the story, the music...this is without a doubt one of THE BEST seasons of any television show ever.

Dec 16, 2015Amazing series with great plot and great acting. In my personal opinion it is the best Tv series I've ever seen. Of course just after awesome Breaking Bad!
-
Dec 29, 2015Season 2 was beyond brilliant and better than Season 1. It had an interesting story with a fantastic ensemble cast, amazing writing, compelling characters, the black comedy is even better in this season, and superb cinematography.
-
Jan 12, 2021This is hands down one of the best seasons of television. Changing the setting to the 70s adds a whole new flair to the show with new production designs and theming.
-
Feb 7, 2016Don't write reviews much, but had to on this. Season 1 and 2 of this show are one of the best TV shows I've seen in the last 10 years. This show, as others have said, is very much in the spirit of Breaking Bad.
Of particular note, Billy Bob Thornton does a phenomenal job as the villain in season 1. -

Jan 14, 2016Great comedy, drama, cinematography, music, mystery, iconic characters, cameos, interweaving storylines and connections to the first series can all be found in this great addition to the Fargo series. Both series are certainly a masterpiece!
-
Nov 4, 2015Spectacular in every way. It's creepily weird, funnily beautiful, and extremely gripping. Yes, I do miss Season 1's characters, but Season 2 is equally entertaining. Simply love this show more and more as each episode unfolds.

Jan 19, 2016Unlike True Detective S2, Fargo S2 continues in an upwards trajectory of superlative writing, acting and direction. Any show that has a hitman quoting Lewis Carroll's "Jabberwocky" before going into battle is a show worth staying with.
-
Oct 30, 2015It has already far surpassed S1 after only 4 episodes. I wish S2 of True Detective could have achieved this feat. The cast is terrific. It is crafted flawlessly. The added sci-fi element is the perfect subtle undertone to add a bit of a surreal intrigue which I would equate to fantastic feat of True Detective S1 integrating the horrifically supernatural, eerie gothic vibe in S1.

Nov 10, 2015writing, directing, acting, music, set design, installation, photography ... every element reaches an amazing level of perfection. The attention to every little detail is so accurate that takes us perfectly in the spirit of 1979. Fargo season 2 is a masterpiece!
-
Jan 2, 2016The war between the noble families and Kansas City. The couple, in which the egg is only his wife. Indian terminator. Hero cop. UFO. And black humor. IT'S FARGO! IT IS NECESSARY SEE!
-
Oct 12, 2015Words alone cannot explain just how perfect and well crafted each and every moment of this new season. Taking what they did so well with Season One and going beyond with it, this latest season truly establishes what superb writing really is.

Fun and fresh, rapid, well-conceived. One of my most favorite shows this year. Execution is smooth and development better paced than Blacklist, which I also like, though it has fallen off a bit. Most of my preferred programming is off network but this is an exception. I am perplexed by some of the reviews. -

Oct 13, 2015There hasn't been a show this good on TV since Breaking Bad. I loved the first season--but this one is off to an even stronger start if that's possible. The premiere was perfect.

The story is muddier and more complex than last season’s, full of halfway nice and semi-awful people rather than the purely good and bad. Every episode starts with a ’70s jam and a jaunty split screen. The Midwestern accents are inconsistent and strange, but that only makes them funnier.
-
You expect Fargo to be dark, funny and quirky. But, darn it, if it doesn’t pull at the heartstrings, too.
-
The second season of Fargo is just as fantastic as the first. And viewers who didn't catch the first season can easily slide into the second. Some nuances will be lost, but those are minor compared to how good this series is.... Hawley and his writers' greatest strength is incredible control of tone and atmosphere.
