Season 4 marks the great return of Family Guy, one of the funniest animated television shows to ever appear on a screen. This is one of the best seasons.

Returning from yet another cancellation (largely due to strong DVD sales) Family Guy’s fourth season is arguably its most consistently funny to date.

The best Era of awesomeness. The show is completely different than the Simpsons who lost their ways.
Family Guy on the other hand is still gaining popularity and interesting ideas for it's divine story lines.

"Family Guy" consistently falls short of excellence, thanks to its monotonously unvaried structure, which consists of a character describing an outrageous situation, followed by a clip depicting that same situation. [28 Apr 2005]

Like other animated series, Family Guy revels in sending up popular culture. The Simpsons does it with wit and affection. Family Guy prefers shock value. [1 May 2005]
