    Aside from being obvious racist trash, literally some of the dumbest things I’ve ever heard on tv are said in the first 2 minutes. You can easily pick out the lies every 30 seconds. They really scraped the bottom of the barrel of “black intellectuals” for this one. Nobody is buying this nonsense. Not even the minorities like me that this is supposed to appeal to. Some of the people are overtly racist to white people, i don't understand how black people can get away with saying such things. There are some hard truths that society has to come to terms with, but much of what is covered here is history.     This show is getting review bombed by people who don't understand how racism works. The show is really thoughtful and genuinely educational, every episode. As a White person, it was especially important to hear from a multitude of Black, Indigenous and People of Colour about the often hidden aspects of history in the United States.

    I just watched the first episode and enjoyed it. But it doesn't take any special insight to understand why it's getting a lot of 0 scores here, which I suspect are coming largely from white people. Everyone I know learned most of their American history from Hollywood movies.     There’s value in the three main episodes of Everything’s Gonna Be All White, but there are comparable docs I’d suggest first. The bonus episode? I strongly urge Showtime to order 13 episodes in this format, which isn’t like anything else on TV.
