    Still an AMAZING show. The final season so far has been one of the best yet, if not the best. The best part about it is always the imaginative way they can come up inventions that seem beyond the realm of possibility and make it work. This season shows that better than any season yet. It is a huge shame that this will be the final season and I hope that a spin off is created from this.

    Season 5 marks the final run of the show. While it was suspected it would be there last it was not written as such. They were only given a final extended episode to conclude the series. Keeping that in mind, it is actually quite a respectable finale and they managed to connect the first 13 episodes with the series finale in a way that seems believable. The "silliness" factor that was introduced in season 4 is cut in half allowing the more serious of plot lines to be taken less lightly. Overall I wouldn't compare the quality of this season (or show) to the likes of BSG or more so SG-1, which I believe is a fair show to make a comparison. However not being as good as the Gods doesn't mean you aren't good =).… Expand

    Despite all the messing around from Eureka's host network SciFi (Sorry, SyFy stupid name) this is a fitting final season to what has been a thoroughly enjoyable show over the past five years. I just wish the writers could have left poor old Holly alone for even a few episodes!

    Eureka is a guilty pleasure that everyone will love. The first time you watch it, you will not like it, but it will grow on you eventually. Overall, it is a very well done science fiction comedy that is good for teens and adults. Well worth watching.

    They don't make them like they used to. It seems that when Si-Fi went to SyFy, they lost their sense of humor. Programs like Eureka and Warehouse 13 had a subtle touch, while current shows are more dire and dark (except Face Off, which can be a bit of a hoot).
