    EastEnders was a great show in the 80s,but since then it's become too realistic. It's not exciting,and it's become more of a sitcom than a drama. It's too predictable also. I don't recommend watching it.

    As with every other soap Eastenders suffers from mediocre scripts and repetitive story-lines. If you're after quality drama this is not really the place to look, particularly in recent years when it has become one of the most depressing shows on TV.

    This has to be one of the worst shows that has ever been produced by the BBC. The story lines are so dragged out you literally grow old following the intermingled story lines. Its a show for people who want to do little with their lives but be spoon fed this non stop sad story lines just to waste a little more of their lives before they can die.
