    I loved it too much, really. I think that we’re all needing something just like this, to remember elite’s fighting. The young-teen-adult public, they will like it. Was a good pilot, i’m sure. Liz Gillies killing it.

    Great show, love the diverse cast, they really made some good changes here to make Dynasty fit for 2017. And Elizabeth Gillies as Fallon is just perfect

    I had so much fun watching the pilot. It is a guilty pleasure with great outfits, lots of over the top drama and sassy lines. But it is also a good show with a diverse cast and female characters owning this show, especially Liz Gillies as Fallon is great as a strong and smart character always underestimated by her father and other men in her life. I think this show will be a hit!

    Pilots always have the difficulty with introducing all the characters
    and story lines, but Dynasty gave a good start. Fallon's voice-over at
    the beginning was a good introduction and the scene with the two mansplaining guys a very funny start. The storyline then went very fast from the introduction of Crystal to the wedding, but that was just the beginning of so many story lines.    Pilots always have the difficulty with introducing all the characters
    and story lines, but Dynasty gave a good start. Fallon's voice-over at
    the beginning was a good introduction and the scene with the two
    mansplaining guys a very funny start. The storyline then went very fast
    from the introduction of Crystal to the wedding, but that was just the
    beginning of so many story lines. Fallon competing against her father
    and working together with the Colby's, an upcoming love triangle
    between Fallon, Culhane and Colby, Crystal's hidden past and her cousin
    hooking up with Fallon's brother, and last but not least the death of
    Crystal's ex. A full on soap drama, loved every second of it. Excited

    The Dynasty reboot is a perfect mix of old and new. It pays hommage to the Dynasty series from 1980 in lots of ways, using the music that was the old Dynasty intro and doing the epic scene in which Fallon bites of the wedding cake's chocolate bridesmaid' s head.
    It is also new, changing the subjects of the old Dynasty that now are seen as problematic like the homophobe reaction from Blake    The Dynasty reboot is a perfect mix of old and new.     It is also new, changing the subjects of the old Dynasty that now are seen as problematic like the homophobe reaction from Blake Carrington to his son Steven. Steven now is openly gay and there are no problems with that. The strained father-son relationship now comes from the fact that Mr. Carrington is in oil and fracking while Steven is a for fighter of green energy and protests against his father' s plans to exploit native american land.
    New is also that the women are the main characters of the show. Daughter Fallion Carrington is now ambitious, smart and after the head position of her family's company.
    This combination of old and new makes Dynasty a great watch for both fans of the 80' s Dynasty as new fans looking for some fresh, modern drama. Well done!    … Expand

    dynasty a series of clamor power, with lots of action, drama really the first episode messed with me but let's wait for the rest Elizabeth Gillies is getting over, I think the whole cast, this series has a lot of future and has something to improve, it reminds me a lot of gossip Girl

    I loved the first episode, I found it very fast but when I saw the 40 minutes passed so fast, and I was with the taste of want more and more, really this series is very good for the first episode has happened so many things I am mega eager to know rest I'm loving the power as they're doing it's fantastic unfortunately the criticism sometimes does not know recognize more I know congratulations

    a new series that has a lot to show yet, I found the mansion very beautiful, and a series with a rich look and powerful and beautiful, the actresses are surpassing including the Elizabeth Gillies that this wonderful I can not wait to confirm the 2 season and view all episodes

    This reboot made Dynasty a fresh, modern drama with both hints to the '80s version as remarks to our current society and politics. I can understand these changes will upset some old Dynasty fans, but I would urge everyone to give this serie a chance. The story lines are interesting and complicated, the characters all have something special and the cast is good.     Outstanding is Liz Gillies who plays main character Fallon Carrington. She is still relatively unknown, though people who watched FX's Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll already know that Gillies is great in combining drama and comedy. As Fallon she outshines the rest of the cast with her strong appearance.
    Netflix has bought Dynasty in a unique deal to broadcast it worldwide, indicating they, like me, expect Dynasty to become really big.    … Expand

    Dynasty is my favorite soap opera of all time, my 3rd favorite new show of 2017, and one of my favorite shows of all time. Elizabeth Gillies performance is exceptional, she plays this role perfectly with a sassy, fiery, charismatic, funny, and very entertaining but also an emotionally deep and complex performance. Other performances from Nicollette Sheridan, Nathalie Kelley, Brianna Brown,Dynasty is my favorite soap opera of all time, my 3rd favorite new show of 2017, and one of my favorite shows of all time. Elizabeth Gillies performance is exceptional, she plays this role perfectly with a sassy, fiery, charismatic, funny, and very entertaining but also an emotionally deep and complex performance. Other performances from Nicollette Sheridan, Nathalie Kelley, Brianna Brown, Wakeema Hollis, Grant Show, Rafael de La Fuente, Alan Dale, Sam Adegoke, and James Mackay were outstanding. The chemistry between the cast is terrific. I love the music especially the opening theme, the music is phenomenal. The costumes are spectacular especially on Elizabeth Gillies, Nicollette Sheridan, Nathalie Kelley, Wakeema Hollis, Rafael de La Fuente, Alan Dale, Grant Show, and Sam Adegoke. The makeup and hairstyling was stupendous especially on Elizabeth Gillies, Wakeema Hollis, Nathalie Kelley, Kelly Rutherford, Nicollette Sheridan, Adam Huber, and Brianna Brown. The writing is pretty darn great for a soap opera, probably the best I have every seen. This was an A+ first season.… Expand

    This show is really underrated and people should give it a chance. And the old dynasty fans need to get over the fact that this is dynasty 2017 different cast. Different story. Get over it people. I understand you wanted a reboot like Dallas but thats not the case here.     The new Dynasty is as soapy as the original. The new cast is amazing! I love the new Alexis (Nicollette Sheridan). She was a b**** in the original, and nothing has changed. I loved season 1 more, but we haven't seen all of season 2 yet. A defineate watch!

    It knows what it is. Its fast, crazy and funny, just how it supposed to be!!! :). Nobody wants it to be so serious as the original Dynasty. Nobody wants a wise, bloated serie. It must be entertainment serie.

    It has a good story that uses some references of real life's Dynasty,with strong characters showing up their Strongest Qualities.
    The outfits are On Fleek! And one of the strongest point of this Tv Show is the soundtrack! there are some good Unknown songs that captivetes those importants moments. Watching this I can    The show had a good pilot,introducing all of the main characters.

    We are only two episodes in, but I'm pretty hooked already. Of course it's very soapy, but that's what Dynasty is all about! So far it's exceeded my expectations, looking forward to the rest of the season.

    This one is really pretty bad, there are enough unintentionally funny moments but it's not enough to keep anyone interested long term in my opinion.
    Perhaps people might want to see how its really done try the original

    I'm so surprised Esther & Richard Shapiro didn't put a stop to the travesty Josh Schwartz, Stephanie Savage and Sallie Patrick created. The magic of the show is gone, nothing left from the original apart from names and some 80's songs. They changed the living daylight out of it and if they don't make a 180 degree turn and introduce a strong Alexis (like Lana Parrilla or Madeleine Stowe),I'm so surprised Esther & Richard Shapiro didn't put a stop to the travesty Josh Schwartz, Stephanie Savage and Sallie Patrick created. The magic of the show is gone, nothing left from the original apart from names and some 80's songs. They changed the living daylight out of it and if they don't make a 180 degree turn and introduce a strong Alexis (like Lana Parrilla or Madeleine Stowe), plus hire really good writers, there will be no season 2. Krystal having made a sex-tape and involved in a drug cartel? No, no no Sallie, you got it all wrong. Krystal and Steven were the purest people on the show. Making them having nasty pasts does not help the show. you just demolished the show's foundation. Fallon's lack of morals is enough for the whole show. It is such a shame to ruin such a great franchise. Only Blake and Claudia are cast right. NO-ONE else !… Expand

    Its downfall is a consistent failure to go far enough with drama and camp. The cast isn’t taking the story too seriously, that much is obvious. But it’s also plain to see that they want us to know that they’re deadly serious about doing justice to the original. They shouldn’t be.

    These flashes of fun and intrigue are too few and far between, which just leaves us with some half-hearted commentary on the rich and famous. The pilot is competent, but the Dynasty reboot is more junior executive than CEO material right now.
