As a dog and comedy lover this show hits out of the park. I love the dog and human dynamic that plays out so cleverly. I can't wait to see where the show goes

Downward Dog is a breath of fresh air! It's original, hip, funny, smart, and touching. Great premise and top notch cast. I'd rather watch this than countless formulaic sitcoms. Really hope it gets renewed!

A Light Drama from ABC that knows how to be intellectual and funny at the same time. Don't ignore this show right away, try to know and understand Martin's story. He might become your favorite 'DOWNWARD DOG'.

What a fun and heartfelt show! It's original, well-written and has a great message. I was bawling my eyes out at puppy Martin getting adopted. Don't we all remember the moment we saw our furry best friends for the first time? Can't wait to see where the series goes!

An unexpected network comedy featuring the undeniably charming Allison Tolman. Excited to see where the series will go after the pilot. A strong pilot is usually an indication of an even stronger series.

Downward Dog is a beautiful show; heartwarming, true, and funny in a surprising and fresh way. Martin is a fun and multifaceted character to watch, providing the perfect voice for disenchanted pets and their humans.

Love this show! It's smartly written, thoughtful, and funny. The talking dog concept could have gone terribly wrong, but it really works, and the dog's voice is great. Looking forward to the rest of the season.

Adorable show! I tune in every week as do all my friends so we don't miss any episodes.
The dog is precious and the acting by all hits the mark. Such a smart witty script...the dog
speaking of the very same issues/concerns that all us humans have to deal with as well.
Bravo to all involved in such a clever and creative show. 'Luv it!

Don't believe the fake accounts all giving this a 10. I like Alison Tolman and I even like the dog. But I have seen better talking animal videos on YouTube. There's nothing new in the dog's take, the dialogue is predictable, full of anthropomorphic banalities. Charming and low-key sitcom chock full of observational humor and irony....from the dog's perspective. Probably not for anyone who requires their laughter to be full-throated and the humor to be delivered like a stand-up comedian's jokes with telegraphed punchlines or crude humor or the slapstick pie-in-the-face variety. This show presents an interesting concept by allowing the viewer into the mind of the dog and his point of view. Great concept but the fact that he talks like a teenager with no social talking skills drives me crazy. Every 4th word is "like" and it is that annoying that I'm not sure I can stick with the show just because of the language. Can't believe that it doesn't bother everyone.

Sorry to be the dissenting voice here, but this show did not live up to its promise. It had to be axed because it only appealed to a niche audience. Congratulations to those who appreciated this show, but you were the niche. To me it did not have the charm of Mr. Ed or the appeal of classic animal heroes such as Lassie.

Downward Dog is a delight to watch. It's one of the most inventive comedies that will ever air on TV. There were so many things that could have gone wrong with show, but it turned out great.

A relatively quiet, at times almost meditative comedy with a talking animal at its center.
