Jan 5, 2016This series' use of two parter episodes allow characters to be more dynamic which leads to a rewarding experience. Capaldi's maturity as the Doctor is also apparent.

Sep 21, 2015All I can say the writing is still fabulous. The ideas are still marvelous, the acting is never boring and blended and there is always enough stuff to mindf*ck you until the episode end. All we need, forever, is some nice, pleasant faces to make everything shine and attach ourselves to everyone. Nothing bad to say, for now. Spoilers are coming...

Nov 8, 2015This season has been excellent so far. Capaldi has really settled into the role and made it his own. As long as it continues to stay this strong, it may become my favorite season since Series 5.

Nov 15, 2015Its call a plot not a set of random things happening then the Doctor making some lame speech "I am do sad I was in a war cry whinge" with super bad acting.

Jan 11, 2017Definitely better than last season. NIce to have the 2-parters back. Some of the single episodes in the last couple of seasons felt like too much in too little time. Some great episodes in this like the Daleks one and the one in the tower. However, the overall story story arc is a let down. Again, there are aspects of this season that feel like they're trying too hard to be more dark and serious.

May 21, 2017this is doctor who ruined opportunity to be a slamming season as people are losing interest which causes views to drop and Clara is done poorly the worst companion yet hell bent ruined the the best episode of the season this shows doctor who needs change and a new concept and new ideas.

Jan 4, 2023Great series and Clara will always be on wii the best companions. Peter is great as the doctor as well. And Heaven sent is a masterpiece of an episode.

Nov 30, 2020With only a handful of good episodes and a lot of boring two-parters, Season 9 ends up being arguably the weakest season of Modern Who to date. The stories bring back a lot of classic villains but the quality of said stories left a lot more to be desired.

Things progress with a superb pace in the premiere--something that many in season 8 failed to do--and set the tone for a far more successful set of episodes than those we saw in 2014.

This is a pretty lively Whovian world.... Clara is the sunshine to the Doctor's sadness, and Coleman makes her shine.
