If you enjoyed the books, then be warned that this “adaptation” is nothing of the sort and bears essentially no relation beyond the title. Neither the characters nor the stories could be said to even bear a loose resemblance. Decent show but the creator (and main writer) has been accused of sexual assault and domestic abuse which colours a lot of the show and its characters differently.

Weird, obscure and wonderful. Enjoyed every minute of it. First episode or two might be a bit confusing but stick around, it's worth it. Heartbroken that it was canceled.
