The show clearly targets the young audience. No depth, and try to tell so many story in one 30 minutes episode. The creator made the first two episodes as if Emily and her future Sister in Law was the center relationship and then backtrackingThe show clearly targets the young audience. Wtf? If this is a joke, it's a bad one. Nothing in this messy,unwatchable mash up works. I can't believe any critic even gave it any credence at all. this series is a masterpiece and deserve more recognition! when u decide to watch dickinson u are obligated to think thoroughly, so if u'r confused or didn't understand the series - hate to tell u this but u'r dumb.

Desde a primeira cena (e o primeiro palavrão), está claro que não se trata de uma biografia comum, mas simAlém de fugir dos moldes optando por ser uma comédia, a série usa a imagem de Emily Dickinson como filtro para observar os dias atuais. Desde a primeira cena (e o primeiro palavrão), está claro que não se trata de uma biografia comum, mas sim de uma analogia fantasiosa. A aposta da Apple TV+ passeia pelo lúdico para observar a figura de tal pioneira artista, tentando adivinhar o que se passava em sua mente, construindo arcos a partir de seus enigmáticos poemas.

O charme de Dickinson encontra-se mesmo na protagonista, não somente pelo talento de Steinfeld, mas pela forma de humanizar a personagem, mesmo num cenário tão fantasioso. É palpável a sensação de não-pertencimento numa época que não a entende, mas a série não hesita em condenar seus erros e futilidades, ao mesmo tempo. Se a história retrata Emily como uma reclusa, tal série a pinta como uma rebelde pioneira, numa batalha constante contra os limites impostos em sua visão de mundo.… Expand
