I can certainly see those 'Fringe' influences and I like some of it. But it'll have to get better to keep me entertained. The MI6 lady is already annoying me on accent alone.
If there's a bigger story arc it might keep me hooked, but for now it's mostly separate episodes.
*edit. There is a bigger story arc, but apparently I totally forgot about it.

Was looking for something new and compelling to watch. Didn’t find it during the pilot episode, so dumped this turkey in the garbage and kicked it to the curb.

The pilot was engaging and peaked the curiosity, but unless this is a one season show, I suspect it will drag and viewer interest will wane. However, I will follow the show into 4-5 episodes before I decide to continue watching.

Despite all the woo-woo, I'm rooting for Debris and hope it can keep its eye on the skies instead of the routine conspiratorial rabbit holes. [10 - 23 May 2021, p.8]

A mumbly and mindless sci-fi drama that would never have made it on the air if NBC weren't so desperately scrambling for new pilots as the COVID production lockdown virus slouched toward Hollywood last spring.

“Debris” is still setting things up but what’s been presented is engaging so far. If it can find a happy medium between the worlds established by “Fringe” and “The X-Files,” and enhance the banter between its leads, it could be something really special.
