Down on St Marie, there isn’t much tension, because the storyline is so ropey.

It's a fruity cocktail of all the things we're missing: sun, sea, sand and frivolity.

It’s still an easy watch and the returning characters feel like old friends, from Don Warrington as the Commissioner to Tobi Bakare as the enthusiastic JP. There was a welcome return for Joséphine Jobert as DS Florence Cassell.
