    Has the kind of verve and wit that's the hallmark of shows where the writers aren't thinking about audience reaction or how the network bigs will view it -- it's a story that just pours out, with the audacity to say, "Take me or leave me."

    Dead Like Me was one of the first shows that I watched that showed me that tv really could be a vehicle for interesting and complex stories.Dead Like Me was one of the first shows that I watched that showed me that tv really could be a vehicle for interesting and complex stories. It just takes the right person to do it and this show was full of a lot of those people. The story arcs were so original that I'm surprised it lasted for two seasons. This is the sort of thing that I imagine now would thrive in a Netflix like utopia. I would definitely recommend it for it's interesting take on death and the dry cynical wit. Beyond anything else it is memorable.… Full Review »
