    It doesn't add up to the sum of its parts but the third and final season of Starz’s Da Vinci’s Demons is as visually arresting, dramatic and well acted as the last two. Furthermore, it corrects the plot inconsistencies and erratic pacing that plagued them to finish strongly.

    Season 1 was excellent, I binged watched it a second time. Season 2 was eh but I thought it was just because they were trying to shift the story a bit to ensure more seasons. Then season 3 came, I barely made it through 2 episodes before removing it from the DVR schedule. A shame.

    I am very sorry to see this show cancelled. It is one I wait for. I love the blending of science and the mystic. I am very sorry to see it go. Now I'll not know if Da Vinci and the gang ever find the (whole) book of leaves, or see many possible episode ideas that might have come from it

    After opening with a bang, the story meanders a bit in the middle hours, before racing toward the finish, somewhat blunting the impact of the inevitable casualties suffered along the way. While there’s some satisfaction in where the series ends, anything approaching harmonious closure proves elusive.
