Larry David certainly is a talented man. It's Too intriguing how much he will call ANYONE out on their b.s. Constantly finding myself in scenarios where i wish L.D was around to socially assassinate someone.

A Great Example Of How Story Is The King!!! No effects, no pompous shoots, no great investments & big risks taken. Follow The Man, in his unfitting role as an upper middle class hero, trying to make sense of American suburbia. A journey into middle class social behavior

Watching Curb is like watching Seinfeld all over again. It's incredibly smart, entertaining and original. To be able to write three or four possible issues Larry must face and overcome and bring them all together at the end of each episode makes the show one of the best I've ever seen.

That gift is the highly esteemed Curb Your Enthusiasm. Expand

No show makes me laugh harder at its best. This show must infuriate writers of heavily-scripted sitcoms. The cast and creators make it seem so easy and organic.

Curb Your Enthusiasm features Seinfeld co-creator Larry David, playing a fictionalized of himself as a semi-retired television writer and producer in living in Los Angeles. Interestingly, while the plots and subplots of each episode is outlined in advance much of the dialogue is improvised by the actors.

Curb Your Enthusiasms first season is certainly amongst the strongest of any comedy shows debut year. From the off we know exactly the kind of person he is, and the way the every episode mines so many laughs from the sorts of everyday occurrences we all put up with everyday is brilliant. Later seasons certainly manage to refine the formula, but even twenty years after this first aired it’s still a great watch.

Not an immediate show but it's worth it. Larry David's rants about everything and the situations they create are so outrageously absurd.

Larry David is a comic genius. If you don't laugh at this show, there is something wrong with you. Of course, there are some points where you say, "Come on Larry, keep your mouth shut!". But that's why it's a funny show, because he can't keep his mouth shut. Very much like Seinfeld, this is another show about nothing.

After nine seasons, Larry still continues to devise brilliant plots and hilarious scenes. Probable the most consistent comedy show of all time; there isn't an episode that wasn't satisfying and hilarious. 10/10, go watch it!

No one has created a funnier TV character this fall. ... While the first four shows have their fair amounts of laugh-out-loud moments, each ends on an enormous knee-splitter; it's a show viewers will remember the following day and likely laugh at even harder than they did the first time. It has genuinely funny moments... [but] the biggest problem with "Curb Your Enthusiasm" is the unevenness of the improvisation. [13 Oct 2000]

As with most HBO series, "Curb Your Enthusiasm" isn't for everyone. Prerequisites include not only a desire for more of the best of "Seinfeld" but a willingness to go along with David's Brooklyn-bred grumpiness. [13 Oct 2000]
