what if Borat was a British woman? We are supposed to laugh at the brash stupidity, fatuity and pretention of Cunk's musings and the incredulous answers of polite, well-educated interviewees. 11/10, absolutely watch it. Is it perfect? No. But I literally cannot remember the last time I laughed so hard. We're talking full-on hysterics: tears streaming, violent hiccups, falling to the floor and wailing, with no time to catch your11/10, absolutely watch it. Is it perfect? The timing, the delivery, the LOOKS on the actual experts' faces; every second brings a new wave of laughter. This show gives breath into an almost dead genre. The mockumentary. Similar to Nathan For You, The Office and P&R, it has that mild humor that makes you laugh on the first watch, but makes you laugh harder on multiple watches. Best comedy since, well I can’t think of a lot of funny comedies that are by the same mediocre men that the US tend to push out onto screens. This is unique and oddly introspective.
