    At its best — something you could say for horror as a genre — the season works when its concepts are simple, and the writers don’t make leaps and bounds to overcomplicate them.

    While, like most anthologies, the stories are uneven, Creepshow still has good stories that combine creepy, scary and funny in the right proportions.
