Summary:
Creature Comforts is a plasticine animation made by Aardman studios.
The show started as part of a series commissioned by Channel 4, called Lip Sync in 1989, the show was 1 of 4 films shown under this strand, later on it was picked up by ITV1 for a 13 part series. Since then it has returned for a second series still working with the same premise as the original show in 1989. Which is featuring various creatures who are interviewed about a different topic each episode, but the voices are not those of the creatures, it's members of the British public.
After the first two series, a short special was made for the BBC's Comic Relief 2007 telethon, meaning that for the first time, Creature Comforts was shown on primetime BBC 1.
On Christmas Day 2007, a new set of Creature Comforts ads, highlighting discrimination against disabled people, entitled Creature Discomforts began airing.
