    Been watching a ton of cooking shows on Netflix lately. This one is fun and the food looks amazing. My wife and daughters agree that the host has her moments but has very little personality other wise. We aren’t fans of them calling the judges “gods”.

    "Crazy Delicious" isn't flawless — the pacing can stutter a bit over the hourlong episodes, especially during the periods of time the cooks aren't actually cooking — but I appreciate how the love of food, rather than contrived drama, takes centerstage. This is a show where both creativity and execution are rewarded.

    Of course, there are a few missing ingredients: In addition to the pacing issues, the show’s music doesn’t feel majestic enough to truly complement Crazy Delicious’ enchanted garden setting. But the diverse group of contestants adds freshness to the cooking competition landscape, as does the series’ magical setting and inventive culinary offerings. Cooking shows are abundant, but Crazy Delicious is the pick of the bunch.
