Yes, my new favorite show on conventional cable. Like you, my favorite new series have been on the streamers: Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, ... But "Corporate" is the fun you get when "The Office" meets "Mr Robot". It's dark, sardonic, satire mixed with humor and a touch of cutesy. It's the jaded portrayal of Big Corporate that you've either heard about or lived through, you'll dig it.

For those few people who appreciated the brilliant, short-lived corporate sitcom Better Off Ted, here's another chance to get your fix of searing, hilarious shots at the corporate world.

This series is brilliant from the first scene of the first episode, which pins down the insanity of corporate rules. It is even more unforgiving than Better Off Ted, which at least offered a couple of likable characters. In Corporate, the closest thing to a moral center is a beaten-down drone who spends episode 2 creating a PowerPoint promoting war crimes. (Everyone, in fact, is pretty beaten down outside of the hilariously psychopathic CEO.

I think Better Off Ted was a network series, so I'm hoping Corporate might survive longer on Comedy Central, which can probably take lower ratings. Corporate satire of this sort has, after all, a niche audience. So please give this a chance so it stays on the air. Because it is savage and brilliant and hilarious.

This is what I think after having watched the first ten episodes.... Lance Reddick is a phenomenal actor and I have loved every scene he has had in Corporate. But everything else about the show is absolutely atrocious. Every other character just seems extremely unlikable, over-acted, and boring. The plots of each episode are too simple and devoid of any real substance.

A funny, well-produced, absurd dark comedy. Can't wait for more. Not for everyone but five minutes into the first episode you'll know if you like it or not.

Best new TV show (for adults) of 2018. Hands down. The lines given to the little cynical nihilistic Jewish guy will pierce through your middle-aged middle-class average IQ brain and maybe find those dead neurons that were once used for optimism, childish joy and elation . As it did for me.
Minus points for some of the lazy writing pertaining to the corporate plots. But that can only

At times, seemingly in order to undercut how serious the show’s criticisms really are, it feels as if sketches and bits are pushed far past their natural punchline to reduce everyone, not just the oligarchs, into stilted and ridiculous parody. It’s unclear based on the four episodes sent to critics if that’s just a midseason reprieve or evidence of things to come. But with so few out there to compare it to, even a broad parody of the workplace is a satisfying one.

Corporate isn't exactly escapist and with real world headlines of workplace harassment and assault, it's a lot of talk and only a little substance. Still, there's plenty of potential to build on here.

Corporate spreads its story wide enough to ensure that one character doesn’t dominate. Even though they’re all cogs in the machine to an extent, there’s just enough distinction between each of their anxieties and misgivings that it makes for a richer tapestry of dread.
