The creators did an excellent job at letting the students/inmates tell their own story through their actions and statements. They were almost as lucky to find such a diverse, brave and genuine collection of students as the inmates were to have this opportunity. This documentary is not “A Triumph!” or any other cliche in gold font from -USA Today or -KNMX CBS Santa Fe. The professors and administrators involved are clearly sincere when they describe the industry of education as a racket. The I incarcerated students give the professors the opportunity to witness a level of growth and transformation absent from most classrooms. The film does not come off as a work of advocacy and certainly does not shy away from detailing impact the crimes have had on victims, families and themselves. Screw it; the entire fourth fourth hour is **** ‘Triumphant!’ I feel dirty. Glad I trusted PBS based on their track record of documentary screenings and Frontline. Expand
