First seasson was perfect, second was good! third was "meh" and forth is utter garbage, i struggle a lot to finish the pain of see all the chapters, one more boring than the other, starting with kenny, the worst character, worst acted and forced into the series, then moon's ex-girlfriend and all the characters forced into the series, of which you can't empathize with any of them, and the worst of all sensei "Terry Silver" is the most over-acted character. Honestly I went from love to hate with this series, Larusso's son a bully? who wrote the script for the fourth season? monkeys? Boring, repetitive, bad acted... terrible from chapter 1 to the tournament..… Expand

    This show is an R for REDUNDANT.

    Everyone just does the same thing over and over, again most of the episodes

    Yeah, the nostalgia is worth watching...but other than a few of Johnny, Samantha and Tory's scenes..I think four seasons is enough

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. By the time season 3 rolled around, everyone had the feeling Cobra Kai would eventually outlive itself and water itself out. Somehow, instead of overstaying it’s welcome, Cobra Kai season 4 now gives us a perfect reason as towards why it’s the best TV show right now. Multiple interesting plot lines, Terry Silvers joker like descendant into madness, The Kenny-Young Daniel role reversal, The conflict between Johnny and Daniel, and the best finale that tops season 2. Effortless acting on the performers part, fantastic and the best camera work since the shows debut, the best music score since the shows debut, everything goes right. This season ties every single season together in fantastic form. I can’t wait for season 5.… Expand

    Great show that doesn't forget to have fun. It has a lot of heart--something missing from many shows today. That said, it does have weaker episodes in there around the halfway point. It seems like a different writer takes over for a little while with some strange forced political messages during those few episodes. That or the guy with the clipboard turned up...     I was really looking forward to Cobra Kai season 4 and I must admit the first 4 or 5 episodes are pretty good. Then somewhere along the way the writing went downhill. The dialogue became cringeworthy and certain aspects were very phony and down right stupid. I won't spoil the plot but by the end I just wanted it to be over with. Was a big fan. Now? Not so much

    Holy Cow - What a Season! This was a masterclass in how to do a series. Great storylines - Zero filler. Awesome acting, heart, and unexpected twists. It's hard for me to think of a better show on television with as much heart and soul. Put them in for an Emmy - heck, give them an Oscar. They're the best - around.

    Beautifully captures the 80s cheese with heart vibe, and contrasts it with the modern world of screen addicts and snowflakes. Characters all have arcs that feel organic and true. An hour's worth of content in each tight half hour. Nostalgia re-engineered for today not empty fan service. So good.

    Daniel and Johnny attempt to work together to defeat Cobra Kai, who now have a new sensei of their own.

    As with past seasons Cobra Kai continues to make a few missteps (some of the conflicts just feel forced at this point), but it still has that 80’s charm and knowing sense of humour that has made it a fun watch since season one.

    Banger of a season and what a strong finish. They introduced some new characters that got some fantastic story arcs. Can't wait for next season

    This show has been criminally underrated, ever since the day it has released. I've loved it since day 1. I was looking forward it since the day it was announced. I slowly became a superfan of this show, and easily became the best show I've ever seen. Bear in min, I've viewed Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, and the Walking Dead. This show beat's them all; by a lot. Just the way the story isThis show has been criminally underrated, ever since the day it has released. I've loved it since day 1. I viewed Season 1-3 exactly 30 times. It's that good, and I've seen the newest Season already 3 times. The show's amazing. 10/10 is too low for quality of this level.… Expand

    I was about to give up after season 3 but they really found the sweet spot for season 4. Best season so far. They're back to basic. Just good writing, good story arcs, good characters development. Nothing over the top.

    Removing the brawl scenes was also a great decision.

    Even the humor is back with Johnny Lawrence's as the in 80's guy character.

    Cobra Kai’s overt nostalgia is of a simplistic dudebro variety, marked by Johnny’s neanderthal attitude and routine references to the likes of Rocky III, Bloodsport and Top Gun. Yet more objectionable is its regressive sitcom form, which reduces its comedy and romantic/familial/peer dilemmas to a fourth-grade level. For a season or two, that might have lent the show a quaint charm. At this point, however, it’s just a sign of everlasting immaturity.

    Cobra Kai is still a good deal of fun. ... The fear is that the show’s starting to lose sight of its central lesson: Perhaps it’s best not to obsess over the past, as it can lead you to neglect the present. Right now, the show exists in a liminal state between depiction and endorsement, and if it’s not careful, it can slip off the tightrope far too easily.

    It’s all quite ridiculous and always entertaining, and as usual, the season ends with some heavy dramatics — and the tease of yet another blast from the past destined to make a major impact next time around.
