A biblical-scale flood strands the girls to their school grounds surrounded by water out to the horizon and it's not subsiding, this is a long-term flood. What ensues is everything you could imagine with 27yo women who still feel the social pains of 17yo girls. Old rivalries, scores to settle, resentments, betrayals, lying, scheming, oh yeh, it's all there in a fun to watch train wreck of retro-teen anxiety. And like Gilligan's Island, their situation is ripe for so many storylines: are others elsewhere still alive? Who or what could wash ashore at any time? What of escaping their atoll by watercraft? Once again, such a good show cut short by a stupidly short 8 ep season. Amazon should lead the way in returning to 20+ ep commitments because shows like this warrant it. But now we once again have to wait a year or more for a second season if it's even granted, ugh, I hate this element of the streaming era we're presently stuck in.… Expand
