    Fun and entertaining Horror Comedy, a tv show dedicated to retro Horror movie.
    Lots of actors from previous Child's play franchise that seems to have fun partecipating in this production (some unexpected ones). A little dip in modern movie thematics but without being too intrusive.
    It get a little boring in the middle but start and end are a blast! It is a good show for Halloween season.

    I am absolutely loving this first ever series. I am only two episodes left and I can tell you now it is incredible. There are so many nods to the previous movies and a ton of lore that has been explored and as a huge child’s play fan this is the best series!!

    Who knew Chucky would be next on the chopping block of wokeness. Terrible 1st episode, Probably won't watch the rest.

    First episode was ok. I really could've done without the uber wokeness in the beginning though. But then again nothing in hollywood comes without it anymore.

    I found the first episode highly entertaining. I'm not sure what "uber wokeness" fastdak25 is referring to. Also, how is wokeness a bad thing?

    Really fun and exciting re-imagining of a classic story. The lack of full frontal nudity was very disappointing, but overall, the best new show on TV

    Jake Wheeler ist ein vierzehn jähriger Junge, welcher gerne Puppen sammelt um daraus Skulpturen zu machen. Auf einem Flohmarkt findet er Chucky und ersteigert diesen. In dieser Puppe befindet sich die Seele des Serienmörders Charles Lee Ray. Jake ist ein Außenseiter und wird in der Schule gemobbt. Lexy ist seine Mobberin und macht ihn fertig auf übelste weiße.Chucky versucht Jake zuJake Wheeler ist ein vierzehn jähriger Junge, welcher gerne Puppen sammelt um daraus Skulpturen zu machen. Ich finde es sehr gut das wieder Charles Chucky ist und kein Produktionsfehler wie in Child´s Play. Die Puppe sieht auch wie früher aus und besser als in Child´s Play. Es gibt coole Kills und betrifft nicht nur irgendwelche Nebencharaktere, sondern auch Hauptcharaktere bzw wichtige Charaktere. Viele Person sind Klischeehaft und übertrieben was aber nicht stört und bei sochen Art von Serien immer so ist und auch funktioniert. Sei es die arrogante Mutter, welche Bürgermeisterin ist und immer alles bekommen will. Die kleine Tochter die immer schreit und bevorzugt wird. Oder der Vater der schwulenfeindlich ist und sein eigener Sohn es ist. Der Charakter Charles Lee Ray wird weiter ausgebaut in Rückblenden, welche die jeweilige Zeit, gut darstellt in Form von Jahrzehnten passenden Effekten. Außerdem ist das Intro immer zur Folge angepasst was ich gut finde.

    Insgesamt ist die 1 Staffel richtig gut und für Chucky Fans ein muss. Bin auf die 2 Staffel sehr gespannd und hoffe das sie neue Sachen versucht, weil man vieles schon gesehen hat was in der 1 Staffel passiert. Die Serie wird von Folge zu Folge immer besser

    Chucky is a fine attempt at bringing the killer doll to the small screen. The allure of Brad Dourif as the evil doll is enough to lure me back. But if you aren’t familiar with the Child’s Play franchise, don’t start with Chucky.

    The people making Chucky don’t appear to be losing sleep over such technicalities as “what happens” or “how much sense it makes”, but if you can allow yourself to sink into its campy-gory teenage nonsense, then it sweeps you away on a tide of vulgarity and escapism.

    Chucky adds some fun story elements to the “murdering doll” dynamic, bringing the franchise back to it’s earliest days, when we found out how Charles Lee Ray became a belligerent, knife-wielding, redheaded doll.
