    Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is my favorite new supernatural show, my 2nd favorite new show of 2018, one of my top 5 favorite Netflix original shows, and one of my favorite shows of all time. The visual effects and makeup are fantastic. The writing and story are amazing. The casts performances are stupendous especially Kiernan Shipka, Ross Lynch, Chance Perdomo, Lucy Davis, MichelleChilling Adventures of Sabrina is my favorite new supernatural show, my 2nd favorite new show of 2018, one of my top 5 favorite Netflix original shows, and one of my favorite shows of all time. The visual effects and makeup are fantastic. The writing and story are amazing. The casts performances are stupendous especially Kiernan Shipka, Ross Lynch, Chance Perdomo, Lucy Davis, Michelle Gomez, Miranda Otto, and Jaz Sinclair. This show is cool, creepy, and magical.     With a poor season 1, but that can please.
    A cliché and teen story, with Sabrina trying to decide whether to turn into a witch or live a normal life with her friends. The script is the worst point of the series, but the good direction and comic reliefs that really work can make you have fun and even enjoy the series.

    Without a doubt this is not the bubblegum pop version of the comic books but an over the top dark and sinister version. While not without flaws, Season 1 overall was unique and offered a fresh take on Sabrina. The pluses definitely outweigh the minuses making this a must see for any comic book fan. Young star Kiernan Shipka is excellent in the title role and the supporting cast is equallyWithout a doubt this is not the bubblegum pop version of the comic books but an over the top dark and sinister version.     This show is absolutely fantastic and is my favorite new scripted show of 2018. (Side note: I didn't like how The Haunting of Hill House ended.) As a horror fanatic, I find it much more interesting than Riverdale, though I like Riverdale too. The show is delightfully ghoulish, and all the performances are superb. It's a shame that this show didn't receive any Golden Globe nominations.This show is absolutely fantastic and is my favorite new scripted show of 2018. Hopefully the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences will be kinder. The low score from Metacritic users for this show reinforces my belief that I should trust critics, not Metacritic users. The majority of Metacritic users will probably indicate that my review is not helpful, but I don't care. At the end of the day, the fact that many Metacritic users dislike this show is irrelevant, since the show has already been renewed for at least three more seasons. Riverdale hasn't been renewed for a fourth season yet, and this show deserves to last for as many seasons or more than Riverdale.… Expand

    This show is awesome!
    The plot is great, the acting is pretty good, the characters are likable and most importantly it's showing some of the biggest problems teenagers face during high school (especially bullying). The ending was pretty much the best thing of the whole season.

    I expected nothing from these "mystical" series, only knowing that it teenage and is restart a franchise. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina was the biggest surprise on TV in 2018. Simplicity and ease of the narration when the plot is so bad that it is even good. Perfectly picked up actors. While you look - everything is pleasant. After viewing you understand that these series upon you rub.I expected nothing from these "mystical" series, only knowing that it teenage and is restart a franchise.     "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina" is an entertaining series that's not just for the teen crowd. The show doesnt shy away from the fact that these witches worship Satan and have all pledged allegiance to him. The special effects and cinematography on "Sabrina" are top notch. I dig the 1950s aesthetic. All the actors are great. I especially enjoyed Michelle Gomez (Mary Wardwell) and Miranda"Chilling Adventures of Sabrina" is an entertaining series that's not just for the teen crowd.     Not bad. It was sometimes a interesting show. Overall the series is nice. Theme of feminism pretty askew glued to the show.

    La mejor serie que vi este año, la atmosfera es increible, la historia que se cuenta, la creatividad, el feeling, me parecio increible, sobre todo porque mis expectativas eran que no iban a poder superar el hecho de que estaba basada en la serie de dibujos de los 90 que a todo el mundo le gusto, y que iba a causar desepcion como todos los remakes de hoy en dia. Pero hicieron uma serie conLa mejor serie que vi este año, la atmosfera es increible, la historia que se cuenta, la creatividad, el feeling, me parecio increible, sobre todo porque mis expectativas eran que no iban a poder superar el hecho de que estaba basada en la serie de dibujos de los 90 que a todo el mundo le gusto, y que iba a causar desepcion como todos los remakes de hoy en dia. Pero hicieron uma serie con tanta personalidad, que en vez de que una sea mejor que la otra, son simplemente distintas y se complementan.     Thoroughly enjoyable re-visiting of the Sabrina story. Nicely balanced between a fun almost slightly camp take, but one that also has dark undertones that gives is a nicely malevolent atmosphere. Great fun that seems to bypass many of the people giving reviews here.
    Forget the original series and don't take it too seriously (it is light entertainment after all) and judge it on its own    Thoroughly enjoyable re-visiting of the Sabrina story.     The series is a great freshness in dealing with supernatural matters.
    A beautifully crafted remake of "Sabrina Teenage Witch".
    Miranda Otto, Lucy Davis and Michelle Gomez are giving a performance show, as well as young girls Kiernan Shipka and Tati Gabrielle. The series is going super right.

    its lack some action and spells and magic staff they use few spells rotation and there's very few new ones but it good and enjoyable to watch (for me at least)

    Fue extraño ver el giro que le dieron a Sabrina (siendo fan de la serie original), pero la serie no es mala de hecho funciona, (vi la serie completa) lograron crear un mundo interesante oscuro, misterioso y cada personaje tiene un rol dentro de la serie.

    Delicious pop entertainment, with some uplifting and serious themes beneath the shining surface. The cast, production design, cinematography and writing are all excellent. Dark, but light-hearted and comedic elements — particular from the Aunts and Cousin Ambrose — make this a joy to watch.

    This is the perfect show to watch in Halloween! Chilling adventures of Sabrina is one of the greatest "Halloween's series" for now... great characters. Lucy Davis and Miranda Otto simply wonderful for their roles

    Though not as badly acted as lets say another Archie counterpart, Sabrina still does have its flaws. Tweens in conflict with sassy superiority complexes, a main character too headstrong for her own good and an array of stereotyped characters. Though I am curious to see where they will take the show.

    An spectacular remake from Sabrina. With a lot of dark instruments that have support in Satanism, a precious thing for witches. With a teen touch from Riverdale, this series is build with a good base of dialogues, acting, and cinematography! Some borring componnents with personages that are out of context, end unexploreds. So ... Anxious for the second season!

    I think the majority of negative reviews are from people who did not actually watch the show. They all seem to have an oddly similar political agenda to them. Did someone encourage their incel group to post hate reviews or something? I found the show to be addicting and enjoyable. I think this show hit all of the right marks-- creepy, quirky, earnest, intriguing, weird, a little scary, sometimes funny, and the right amount of absurd. Like every show, it will appeal to certain people more than others. I think it is the perfect over-16 TV show for the Halloween season, but really, I would enjoy it any time of year.… Expand

    Scary show with interesting characters, plot twists and loads of witchcraft. Good way to make a (dark) reboot. Only points to make is that some characters are just plain evil and the camera effects make you feel dizzy because they overuse this blurry effect. I miss the shady cat though.

By the end, a truly binge-worthy experience and truly a lot of fun. The actress that plays Pru is great, Shipka does a good job as Sabrina, and Hilda/Zelda/Ambrose actors are also strong. Some of the other actors seem rather one-sided with weaker acting, suchA seriously entertaining series that picks up the pace and starts to have a lot of fun with the premise by around the 4th episode.     Come on...this was for a T.V. series - quite well done! I enjoyed my time spent watching it. It was scary and interesting and developed the characters. The aunts do need to take a better interest in the woman vice principle who is planted as a threat against their niece. I love the actress who portrays Sabrina. I hope they continue to develop her strength and powers. I like her cousin whoCome on...this was for a T.V. series - quite well done! I enjoyed my time spent watching it. Again, I think that the aunts should be her saviors in protecting her versus sending her to the wolves(devil). This is what would improve the ratings for me and to keep me watching.… Expand

    Although the show is rooted in a teenage thematic, the dark themes are enough to keep you more attentive to the story.
    Kiernan Shipka is adorable as Sabrina and is a true revelation but far from being really memorable.

    I really liked it although I wasn't dazzled by it.

    I really loved how youthful and fresh the series was. It was funny, serious and touched on some important issues. It brought the comic book Sabrina to life.

    I must add It's funny how most of these reviews/comments are just from men who are crying because the show talked about women supporting women. I had to laugh! But anyway it's a great show 10/10.

    Smart, creepy and addictive. This is Riverdale meets True Blood. The high quality of production and acting raise this show above the usual teenage tripe.

    Sabrina is also possessed by the spirit of Kevin Williamson’s script for Wes Craven’s “Scream”: there’s a giddy cleverness in how it shouts out its own tropes and knowing riffs, in the service of minting a Faustian coming-of-age tale in which the retro atmosphere mingles with progressive gender politics.
