Love this show! Superb cast, acting, special effects and well written plots. Also very believable characters as sisters and as witches and the other characters as well. the show was never "tv perfection" the first season is unwatchable, stuff happens on screen and you need to go with the flow. clear example: neighboor dan, had a niece living with him. a 12 years old kid was casted, and SHOOT into the intro.the show was never "tv perfection" the first season is unwatchable, stuff happens on screen and you need to go with the flow. clear example: neighboor dan, had a niece living with him. a 12 years old kid was casted, and SHOOT into the intro. just for 4 episodes later, beeing written off, since the writters "casted the part without having any need to do so"

second season is a bit better. weak and sometimes unbereable. it gets better over time, like wine.

third season was one of the best, too bad prue died for good. after that the show gets messy.

fourth season: new-sister-given-into-adoption,-but-not-really-since-its-from-another-father-but-same-mother appears into the picture. its quite interesting the magical world rules are like that. same mother different fathers: half sister so not really a sister (the show is based upon a trio of sisters that taps infinite amounts of magical ancestral power but there where four even if they did not grow up thogheter...) the excuse is that her powers where not activated... but she always had unconsious active powers...

plus cole, the evil-but-half-demon-half-human-that-goes-good-when-its-convenient looses its powers, and by cringe writting is possesed by the source of all evil... then gets pregnant the sister that marries him without knowing its the source, then gets pregnant of the source (since he gets vanquished by the 3 sisters) the baby is pure evil so by cringe writting gets kidnapped/retrieved by "oracle" a powerful demon seer, then destroys itself the fetus and most of the demonic monarchy/monastery.

season 5: cole comes back as half human/half random powers he got from the demon purgatory aka demon hell, yes demons souls are desintegrated into an infinite bad set piece sandbox where a serpent kinda like bettleguise absorbs its power. well he absorbed it and took tons of powers and became unvanquishable. then goes mad cause phoebe does not wanna re-marry or stay married to him. ends up evil/insane and by cringe writting ends up creating an alternate reality where he is weak and gets vanquished again.

season 6: the oldest sister, piper gets a kid. its the MOST powerful magical beeing that ever will exists. he even brings back from the spiritual realm to her great grandmother (witch raised two of the three idiots) from the WOMB not even born and already reviving people... also piper's 2 son comes to "save" wyatt (first born) since in the future is the source of all evil. and by cringe writting, is the director of rip off hogwarts, magical school witch is an elder, aka something like an archangel if you will, or a demigod good angel.

season 7: charm ones joins the avatar's, creatures with infinite powers drained from a shared power pool, transforms the world into an utopia. with the kick, any one that breaks the order is whiped out of existance. so you if sneeze on a cinema, you are deleted from the universe. period. they undo this since they are always crewing up non stop on everything they do, assisted by a demon, shanchou, witch is worse than the source of all evil. by cringe writting they vanquish him, and they fake their deaths to live regular old lives.

season 8: the worst. its unwatchable. the charm ones, paladin's of good protecting innocents, so corrupted by selfishness, they are ready to sit down and watch the world burn in the apocalypse just to be able to shop around and get nice day spa's, without having issues of demon's bugging their day... and 2 idiot witches that go from good to evil and they are vanquished. the end.

if you liked that, then be my guest and watch the 8 full seasons. if not just skip it.… Expand

Simply love it. I used to watch it as a child and now rewatching it as an adult feels so good. This series is the only think that keeps me sane during Canadian winter.
