If you enjoyed the book then you will enjoy the show. Other than that I cannot think of anything I would change.

Yossarian, Major Major, and Milo were perfectly cast and played. I wish it had been 7 or 8 episodes long to fit in more of the book, but I will GLADLY take what we got. To me this is the best thing George Clooney has ever directed, it is a very good adaptation of a nearly impossible book to make into a show or movie. It is witty, fun, and able to describe war in ways no other book or show ever could.

Main idea of the Heller's book was turned little bit upside-down, but I can't deny the quality of this show. It looks great, actors act great, all is done well and it's really entertaining.

I can see why people like it. Personally, it wasn't my cup of tea, but I can see why people like it. You might.

This is a war story, and it includes the characters from Joseph Heller's novel, but it's not Catch-22. Absolutely none of the delicious, malicious humor of that work is in this misbegotten, boring six-episode mess. Absolutely none of the delicious, malicious humor of that work is in this misbegotten, boring six-episode mess. Inexplicable fascination with the one-joke Milo Minderbinder minor subplot. Why does this exist? As flawed as the Mike Nichols movie was, it at least came close to capturing the sprawling, plotless pointlessness of Heller's book. This thing just sits there like a turd. Infuriating. Expand
