Season 2 came late but it's a good continuation.
It gives conclusion to previuos story and add new things.
As usual: Splendid visuals, Dark urban setting, investigations, steampunk vibe, social thematic and a sprinkle of horror
Last episode isn't great...but overall it's a show that it's worth your time.
Give it a try (after seeing Season 1)

There’s an awful lot of other stuff going on. The criticisms levelled at series one apply here too. But whatever problems it has, it looks like a million dollars.

Bland intrigue, a lack of mystery, and too little time spent with its best characters has sapped this show’s magic and left only dour drama behind.

Storytelling shortcomings once again cut Carnival Row off at the knees, yielding an ultimately frustrating experience when a massive volume of ingenuity, inventiveness, and ambition is undone by the simplest aspects of spinning a yarn.
