Carmen continues a string of stylish adventures while fighting over-the-top criminals. This season we get to see more interesting members of V.I.L.E. For a large operation, the criminal operation seemed to only mostly employ fellow same-age-level-as-Carmen criminal newbies. This time we get see some of the older members for a change and a feel for how big the group is. Things get more interesting than last season. We get to learn more about the characters as we peer into the stories of Shadow-San and Carmen's friends' Zack and Ivy. (I still don't much care for the latter two's stereotypical Boston accents and mannerisms.)
The show continues to to try to keep tethered to its edutainment roots by throwing in geographical and cultural factoids. It is still done awkwardly.
This is a fun show and I'm interested in the next season. Your kids will probably like it.…Full Review »
