    Californication has always been a more entertaining show when it sticks to being outlandish and funny rather than attempting to be dramatic or emotional. Fortunately this third season sticks to the former more than the second season did (which went back and forth far too often and contained to much clumsy writing to ever be particular satisfying as a drama series) and as a result it provedCalifornication has always been a more entertaining show when it sticks to being outlandish and funny rather than attempting to be dramatic or emotional.
