Summary:
VH1 asks the question, “But Can They Sing?” when they put nine celebrities with proven talents in other areas in front of a microphone. This is their chance to prove to America that they have what it takes to become a pop star. Celebrity participants are actors Morgan Fairchild, Joe Pantaliano, Antonio Sabato, Jr., Michael Copon, Bai Ling, model Kim Alexis, Carmine Gotti, boxing great Larry Holmes, and Latin entertainer/journalist Myrka Dellanos. Two vocal coaches and one movement/dance instructor will tutor the celebs each week in preparation for their performance in front of a live studio audience. After the performances, the fate of the celebrities lies in the hands of the viewers as America votes on who should stay and who should stick to their day jobs.
