It’s awesome. I’m hoping for another season. There has to be a conclusion of the Eagle returning to Britain and freeing the natives. The timing is an issue though.

what startet as such a great show, slowly but surly gets ruined. Seems like they used more time trying to force SJW politics into the series, than actuly watching season 1 and 2, and continue the story

Poor Veren - such an outstanding character played by an outstanding actor. He has the dumbest and weakest Druids and the sorriest excuse of a “chosen one” - lazy, whiny, and walking into every trap. The director, writers, producers, and editors took an outstanding idea, fantastic acting, and a great history and turned it into senseless repetitive and predictable provocation. They think throwing in sexual Innuendos, psychopathy, and cannibalism is the way to repay their loyal viewers. They minimize such a rich history… and lost lives. They minimize all of the great actors potential and instead choose to humiliate them with outrageous scenes and inane dialogue - often meant to stall almost a whole episode (repeatedly)… to fill up a third season… two was bad enough with the stalling. At times it tries too hard to be edgy and there are too many narrative threads to keep track of. But for all its missteps, it achieves what many historical series fail at – it’s rollicking good fun.

There is something charmingly ridiculous about a series that features comic-relief cannibalism, orgies, throat-slashing and druids who look like they’ve wandered in from a music video by Voodoo People-era Prodigy. Much like a really great music festival, specifics are hard to hold on to – but Britannia’s sheer sensory overload brings its own bonkers rewards.
