    Very rarely is the second season of a series even better than the first. But Brittania is just getting better and better. This is not a series for someone who wants straight paths and easy story arcs. This is for people who find the funny in the oddities and the drama in the twisted story gripping. But you have to look a bit deeper than other blockbusters, because this series lets youVery rarely is the second season of a series even better than the first.     It’s obvious they ran out of story and money - so they added senseless delaying scenes and cut out the proper endings. Had characters do unnecessary provoking things. Too bad, because otherwise, this would have been a 10+ show. Outstanding acting and a great cast.

    Series two is even more batshit crazy. It is totally off its head. It is also camp, ironic and funny.

    None of this amounts to much dramatically or emotionally, of course. Britannia is one of those shows you just have to imbibe, celebrating that it has the sheer cheek even to exist.
